Ghanaboy, I mailed my document to Accra and the online info said that customer has been advised to pickup mail does it sound right for Ghana? Are they not supposed to deliver it to the embassy? The mailing address has box information in it would that be the reason?

Hello, everyone please just wanted to know if Accra has started working on files transfered by August? or are they still working on july files. Ghanaboy, please any latest update from your side?

Hi Obannobi, Ghanaboy and everyone on this forum. I'm sorry I haven't posted for a while, iv been a bit busy. Accra requested that my sponsor did not include a particular document which is just one page, so we sent a scanned copy to them via email. We attached the document and sent it to them on monday. Please my question is that, is it ok to send documents scanned to them or all the document must be mailed, because the document is just a one paper and it is easy for us to scan it to them. Has anyone ever sent a scanned copy of document to accra, did they accept it that way???

Not sure what it really means, which company did u use? Dhl or fedex? Did u quote ur case or file number on the envelope? Maybe they can't identify at the embasy

Yes Macus, they actually suggested that I send scan copy when there was a documrnt missing for us too snd it was accepted.

Thanks so much Ghanaboy and Iwodamiorie for your response to my question. I'm hoping and praying to hear good news soon.

Ghanaboy, I sent it through registered mail and not FedEx or DHL. It took thesame amount of days to Accra.Just that they said-customer adivsed to pick up. In this case it should be the immigration picking it up. Macus, your battle is almost over, I am optimistic that is almost over.I will be heading back to Canada on Saturday. Should I call the embassy to inform them of the pick up.

Iwo., you are such a sweetheart, I am sure that your husband would admire your courage, stenght and fighting spirit. I wish you guys nothing but happiness, peace, respect and love, remember to whom much is giving, much is expected.
