Hello everyone,

I have a question about ordering GCMS notes online. I want to order them (I'm the sponsor) so I need a consent form from my husband. Can he just sign it and scan it to me as a pdf. file and I upload it? Is that how it works? Or does it need to be a paper copy.

Hi Obrunicoco Are you back in Canada now? That's right, your hubby can just sign and scan it back to you and you upload it that way with the online request form and pay your $5 fee. It will take 30 days to come back.

Hey Obronibini, I heard it snowed badly at your end last week. How are you holding up?

Obrunco-I did mine 2 sundays ago, it is painless and very easy to follow. Since you are the sponsor, it is simple process as you don't need your partners signature and information. Just follow the link and answer the questions as they are straight forward. Remember you must be a Canadian or PR to be able to access that information. I am still waiting on mine as it has been only 2 weeks, but I think that it worth trying. I am not sure the content of the information from the immigration as it is only electronic view from their side.

Good day everyone, please who knows the applications that are being processed now by AVO? I heard is the files received by july 22, 2014. I am under sponsorship, my wife is sponsoring us and her applications are being processed concurrently with ours but our files has been transfered to AVO since August 1,2014 for background check and MR.

Please how long will it take before the MR?

Ghanaboy thanks for asking, we are indeed enjoying Dubai it is such a nice country. The development here is amazing, I will surely miss it here when I leave next weekend. I have my beautify wife beside me so all is well. I got the last of my document on Tuesday just as I was heading to the airport, so I will mail it down to Accra from here on Saturday. How is your week going?

Yea,mayb dt s a mistake,I got a message requesting for my passport and sm odr documents, wch have sent since September 2,bt I m yet to hear from dm,it s almost 5weeks now,my husband has mailed dm, bt we got no reply,i m jst worried,dont know wat s happening

dnt get worried,check ur mails or try sending email to cic,
but did u pay dhl for the passport return? i guess u should contact them

No,i didn't pay for the return envelope,d DHL branch here said dy don't offer dt type of service, dt I shd wait till I get mail to pick it up from accra and since then,evrytin has been quiet,we v sent dm emails, dy don't evn reply us,my passport s still wit dm since Sept 2,i don't know wat I can do next

pls relax,sometimes due to holidays and other factors,it delay the process lil bit,probably vo is working on ur case since they requested for other docs, so take it easy,u will here from them by next 2 weeks,what docs were requested
