Hi all, my husband received his pre arrival email today ( Jan 10, 2022 ). Any idea on what the typical timeline between receiving this email and getting the request to submit passport may be?

Pre-arrival letter could come at any stage but it's an assurance they give you letting you know they are still working on your document and have found no issues so hang in there...

Every regional capital(Visa offices) operates differently from the centralized intake offices(like Sydney,Nova Scotia, Mississauga and Ottawa, Ontario) and as at now, the backlogs are so much that it needs time but AVO is dealing with early 2021 applications now while the centralized offices are dealing with 2020 January -February applications
So hange in there.....soon!!

AVO is dealing with which stream of early 2021 applications? PNP? FSW?
