Since you got this mail on 13th I would assume you in Nigeria. I know its confusing and annoying but I will suggest, all applicant from Nigeria to give themselves atleast 5 weeks to receive the passport or start worrying. From most applicant aster receiving that mail, I think the passport is being moved through various offices/transits and that's where the lack of communication is, as in between the visa offices, applicants and the courier services. No updates are made till it lands and ready to be delivered to you.Hello,
I got this mail from VFS on the 13th of this month saying “The envelope for the decision on the results of your visa that has been processed has been received at the Canadian Visa Application Center at Ghana OC, on the date. We will then send this to the Canadian Visa Application Center Ghana OC. Please note that this is an automated email. Please DO NOT reply to this email.”
But up till now I’ve not gotten any update. I’m starting to get anxious. Anyone on this same boat with me??
When the file sets of from the office, its very challenging tracking it. And the file can just be sitting with DHL for days before moving them in bulk. Am sure your file is 100% IN TRANSIT(DHL WAREHOUSE). until you get the 10-digit tracking number of DHL, you can't track it till you receive it. That tracking ID provided by visa office is just a reference ID when you contact IRCC or vfs, its kinda a FILE NUMBER. Best way to track it is with the average expecayedtime of past applicants.
However, you could keep calling the vfs of lagos to see if anything arrived using your file or so called tracking ID from vfs accra.
