Some people prefer in person and ask for a change from virtual. I got a virtual ceremony , attended it and it was great and convenient. The important thing is attaining the status of a Canadian citizen and eventually getting your Canadian passport.- Neyoyo

You shouldn’t be worried. I got my download email about a week before the oath ceremony. Besides, during oath ceremony, they would still ask you for your preferred type of citizenship certificate ( either paper or electronic).- Neyoyo

Did anyone recently attend a citizenship ceremony? Was PR card and Manitoba Health Card accepted during registration? MB Healthcard does not have a photo and signature.- Neyoyo

No,not everyone gets a fingerprint request. Most common reason guessed in this forum is people with common names or names that may be similar to someone with law issues.- Neyoyo

Since you are not travelling for more than 2 weeks outside Canada, you should be good: While we process your application, contact us if any information on your application changes or if you change your address plan to leave Canada for more than 2 weeks in...- Neyoyo
