In order to reapply you have to completely sure of what the immigration officers concerns were and the "real"reasons for refusal and address them. Because if they are not addressed the application can be refused again. Appeal process varies in time based on where you live and there are 2 possible resolutions in an Appeal process
Alternate Dispute resolution( ADR) which is an informal meeting to resolve cases they deem as simple( sometimes can be done 6- 8 months after a refusal) or Full appeal hearing. the first waiting period is waiting for the disclosure file which takes up to 120 days to arrive. There the concerns will be outlined. At the end of the day the main thing is to be with your loved one.

Hello House,
Please I did my biometrics in first week of February and was told the second day that my file has been moved to Accra. Please should I expect medical request anytime soon because I indicated am pregnant?

Count 5 months from the day they received your documents, be expecting MR from your 5th month.
