Hello everyone,
Congrats to those who have gotten PPR.
For newbies like us who applied in Aug 2018. I am very lost. I am yet to get AOR, I do not know if this is normal. Jst afraid if I have no AOR at almost 4 months when will my application be fully done. Any Aug2018 member in the house? Also is there a what'sapp group?

If you follow July thread (https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/july-2018-outland-spousal-sponsorship-outside-of-canada.564657/page-139#post-7399891) you'll find that they're just issuing out AORs to late July applicants. Depending on when in August you submitted your application, you should be getting AOR in a couple of days or weeks.

Hello guys, does anyone know how to get police clearance report in Kumasi? I have received a request for police report from the Canadian embassy in Accra. Thank you.

Thanks for your quick response. I sent AVO an email and they asked that I contact CPC Mississauga. They want me to fill a new application to sponsor forms. Maybe, I will wait as suggested. Thanks
Hello Bryanmarfo18, the complexity of your issue depends if you are a permanent resident of Canada or a Canadian citizen. If you are a permanent resident, then you only need to add your child to the application for your spouse by filling in the generic application for (additional), update the family background form to include your child. Use the web system to send this information and it will be added to your file. Make sure you add the necessary documentation like birth cert.

However, if you are a Canadian citizen, then your child born outside Canada automatically become a citizen as well and cannot be issued with a permanent resident visa. There are exceptions to this rule if you yourself (as a parent) was born outside Canada and the date you became Canadian. Please read more here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-0001-application-citizenship-certificate-adults-minors-proof-citizenship-section-3.html#appendixA

If you meet the requirements, then you can file in this forms and submit to the address indicated.
