Your next procedure will be to create an online account and then link it with your application. And then the next correspondence will be a request letter requesting your schedule A and police clearance before they will send your application to your visa office.
I hope this sound clear to you.
Are you on WhatsApp? if yes, can you please add me? +2348130877184. thanks

The process got changed late last year. Now applicants submit the police clearance and schedule A upfront . It's supposed to improve processing times .

i already linked account over 3wks ago. schedule A & Police cert were both sent with the application.
Oh okay good. I think you now need a lot of patience as your next correspondence will be a medical request which obviously will take 5 months for them to send the request, that is if nothing changes

Thanks, please do you have an idea what the next procedure is now and the timeline? thanks

As mentioned, you(principal applicant) would get requests or correspondence from VO via your online CIC account.

The next steps from AVO for us were;
- medical request a month after the application was forwarded to AVO
- medical request passed.

now we are waiting for PPR :)

It's a good thing. It will surely reduce the processing times. Sometime applicants find it difficult to even upload it via their online account, I had difficulties uploading mine so I ended up mailing them via DHL to Mississauga before my file was shipped to Accra.

@Righteous do you mind sharing your timeline so far (e.g when your app was received, aor1, SA etc)? You getting request for medicals only a month after your file being transferred to AVO seems very fast and promising.

Quick question, does anyone know if its a good or bad idea to get a medical exam done by a panel physician before AVO request for it? Just wondering as it is generally always valid for 12 months and would be submitted directly through the panel physician's eMedical system.

They will send you a form that you need to take with you. So you need to wait. But you can generally get in to the doctor's fast anyway. And it won't speed anything up .

Trust us - nothing speeds the process up :|

If there is anyone around still that received a decision from immigration last year, do this...

IRCC is currently conducting an online survey of clients who received a decision on their application in 2017. We have hired a research company, Advanis, to help us conduct this survey. If you are one of the randomly-selected people who receive an e-mail invitation to participate, we would appreciate your feedback!
If you don’t receive an invitation and would still like to provide your thoughts, we welcome your feedback at: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/feedback-retroaction/feedback-retroaction-eng.aspx

Hey I got randomly selected for survey on 16th Feb 2018, saying that it is for those who got decision on their application. But, I have not received any email for PPR? What does this mean?????????????
How to find out. I am waiting on the decision since Oct 3rd 2017.
