Looks like applications with Aor in October and pre arrivals in July are getting it..mine is Sep AOR and March pre-arrival...no news from ndvo after that..
Well.. you can try ordering the GCMS notes... And in that check the eligibility due date... For me it was Nov 21 2020... And the PPR came before that...

Mine AOR 3 NOV 19, 4 JULY PRE ARRIVAL, NO DM NO PPR , so frustrating.

No you get a 2 way courier request mail after the original passport request letter. You have to contact vfs via email provided in the mail to arrange the payment and pickup of the passport. Vfs will revert back in mostly 2 days once you contact them.
Thanks a lot... May I ask ... Did you get the passports after stamping? Generally how much time does it take...

Thanks
Ameya

I just checked the ECAS status and it says "Decision made" for permanent resident application of my son. I received Pre-arrival letter 1 month ago but no PPR yet. Note that my son is in Canada on TRP. Do they send PPR for the applicants who are already in Canada? If status says decision is made then what is next? I am confused .

Hi All,
To take the child to Canada while the PR is being processed, what should we apply TRV or TRP? On what basis will they issue as the child will not have a reason to return once the TRV/TRP expires as parents are PR holders?
It looks like it will take a very long time for PR to be processed. I have applied last month.

Applied in Feb. Application transferred to NDVO on Sept 16. No update after that.
HOw did you know that the file moved it NDVO.
We had applied for our new born son on 6th April. Havent heard anything ever siince.
not even an application ID, we just know that they received the application on 6th April 2020.

What do you guys suggest?

Hey.. I am an April applicant as well.. I first called the IRCC a couple of months back and received a temporary file number and confirmed that they received it on the 17th of April... we just got AOR and SA emails on the 27th and 28th of October.. our file was transferred to Cairo VO on the 28th of October as well.. I would suggest you to contact the IRCC and atleast get a temporary application number if you haven't done so already.. You can also ask them when the application was received and if the completeness checks were done or not yet..

Good luck and please keep us posted :)
