Hi,

My daughter TRv is still under review. Not sure what they are reviewing. It is almost 40 days of submit the application. I posted just to have a general view not specific so that all those who are waiting and frustrated with the so long process can write so that something can be done. It is surprising for spouse sponsorship for whom all checking to be done 12 months time is given on portal and in case of dependent child for which no verification is required it takes 14 months. Could not understand the same.
14 months for dependent child and it doesn't mean they are all minors. I am sure they are getting all sorts of cases (including few ones where more checks and documentary evidences are required). Hang in there, I am sure ppr will come soon for right cases.

Visitor Visa is for 6 months only. Isnt there any time frame on the visa?

VISa validity is till expiry of kids passport that is after 4 years. But while arrival officer didnt stamped the duration validity of this trip.

DM Made today :D

App submitted - 1 Aug
AOR 1 - 2 Sep
AOR 2 - 26 Sep
Meds done - 2 June
DM - 24 Oct

No decision on TRV yet. I guess they arent processing it anymore.

Thank you.

Yes its June 2. Mine was a peculiar case. I had applied initially for a TRV which was rejected because I hadn simultaneously applied for sponsorship. But they did send through the medical request in June.

That's good. Was little confused on how the app was submitted on Aug 1 and med done in June. Or was it Apr 1??

Nope. August 1. Medicals were done and sent prior to the sponsorship. Under a TRV request which was ultimatelt rejected. But Medicals were still valid.

It seems like that by some God’s grace, my application is approved in less than 3 months of applying. Which is phenomenal.

Congrats SS...

So it took only approx 3 months for your PR application which is great.... Hoping they will process the file with same speed for all cases...

Fingers Crossed...

Hi SS
Congrats again.

Did NDVO call you at Embassy for stamping and COPR or you got the same through VFS in one day.?

I believe in child dependent case, the VISA is stamped at Embassy not through VFS. My Friend also got his son case through Embassy only.

Please suggest.

Gaurav,

I had already submitted the passport with the paper application at the vfs. They just returned the passport the very next day of updating gckey. I am pretty sure that the visa was stamped at the embassy.

I think paper applications are processed a bit faster than online apps.
