Guys, does anyone have idea about this instance. that nothing has been stamped on my kids passport when they arrived to Canada on Visitor visa. I told immigration officer that their PR is in process. My question is : How long they canstay here in single visit"?

Is it 6 months or till the expiry of visa (i.e. till the expiry of passport)

Can someone tell me what will be further steps in the process?
I raised a query that i have submitted schedule, whether they have received it. After three weeks i got mail, yes we have received. This is how i got confirmation. You can do same.

You must have submitted though your IRCC, so dont bother it will definitely received.

Hi Friends
Just a thought, can we raise our concern of slow processing of dependent child application by CIC through social media so that altleast something can be done in this behalf. For them there is no requirement for BCG and police clearance it can be done fast. Also , if govt can give PR on arrival to refugees on Humanitarian ground the same grounds can be considered for dependent child as the child is aloneoutside canada without parents. Also, Govt say for family unification which can be taken as a ground.Atleast govt should make provision for TRv or some other visa meanwhile PR application is in process. Please let me know your thought I will altleast try to raise awareness so that govt should understand our pain of living without family members.

hi Friends,
I am living in Canada on work permit status and my wife applied for open work permit. Recently, her open work permit visa was rejected as my employment duties and responsibilities do not fall within NOC 1312 category. While reviewing, I found that it was matching with NOC 1312. I am working as a claims representative at $12/ hr. No idea why it was rejected. Kindly advise friends, is it CIC mistake or something else? I would highly appreciate your help.

Hi Gaurav

Agree with your thoughts here. But is your visitor visa application rejected already? Have you waited until the normal processing time and called their NDVO helpline regarding the TRV?

Hi,

My daughter TRv is still under review. Not sure what they are reviewing. It is almost 40 days of submit the application. I posted just to have a general view not specific so that all those who are waiting and frustrated with the so long process can write so that something can be done. It is surprising for spouse sponsorship for whom all checking to be done 12 months time is given on portal and in case of dependent child for which no verification is required it takes 14 months. Could not understand the same.

I think you are still within the processing timelines and the delay could simply be because of a heavy backlog of files with NDVO coupled with festival holidays. You also had some doc requested by them so that could have further delayed the processing. I am 100% confident that you will get a PPR within a week. Max by next Monday. Hang in there!
