I am plannig in Next year 2013 .

Nano - i am not over optimastic - Just " Think positive live Positive"

1. in Dec 2011 on fourm discussion about Jan 2012
2. In Jan 2012 - new updates ( files are processed )
3. peoples are thinking on fourm for April 2012 .( because in past - people received Meds by 2-3 weeks / real IP...but nothing
4. CAIPS result igniting hopes of 120 days BFD i.e May 2012
5. now wait for new Ministrial instructions - i.e MI5 by July 2012.
6. New rules with new hopes - but dont be happy it will good for new applicant only - they are on top most priority.

if they want to clear MI-1 backlog by 1st Qtr 2013 - they need to start Meds by June-July-Aug-Dec-Jan // but need to understand vision of MI5.

CHC ND has started asking for additional documents from applicants via e-mail.

What docs did they ask?

My dates for visiting as mentioned in application was July to Dec 2012. So it could be anything from July to Dec.

But lets hope its sooner than later. I think we may receive medical in 2 to 3 months.

nano u ve put a ailing patient on glucose ........... any way havn't u tried to ask her when the meds will fall??

And secondly yeswecandoit, I don't understand what you are trying to say in the post below. Can you elaborate?

Do you think she would have answered me if I would have asked.
All she told was that I am in queue for medicals and my visiting Canada on visiting visa may delay my PR process. I said that my application is with you guys since Feb 2010 and it has been more than 2 year and hence I have applied visiting visa to visit my husband. She replied that visa offices needs to complete processing for applicaiton in a time frame(don't ask me what it is-she did not say) once file is in-process.

Based on this I feel that we may get medical request in 1 to 3 months time(for those in process since Jan-Feb).
Secondly based on her talks I felt that the more an applicant and family has travelled the more delay in background checks.

rest all prejune also learn that CHC will do something on MI1 application ( in between July to Dec 2012 ).
