Dear All,

I have been asked by NDVO to re-submit PCCs for myself and spouse upto 7th July'12. Now i got stuck.

I got married on 17th Nov 2010 and i live in Delhi. My wife lived in Karnal, Haryana before marriage. I would get PCCs for myself and spouse (post marriage till date) from Delhi police. However, police in karnal are not giving PCC saying they have already provided it to me 1.5 years ago. They provide PCC on the basis of passport (my wife had haryana passport which i cancelled and made a new passport from Delhi) which is Delhi passport now. They are saying they will inquire from Delhi police also and i am sure this procedure will eat a lot of time and i won't be able to submit PCC on time.

I wanted to ask:-
If anyone has gone through with similar hurdle
What's the best way to get my wife's PCC from Karnal.
If this get delayed, then would my wife's Delhi PCC would suffice.
Can i request NDVO for extension due to delay in getting PCC from Karnal police.

Dear Anubhav,

They have to give the PCC though they have provided it earlier. What if you are having one more immigration application to a different destination. Did you show the letter from NDVO requesting to submit one more PCC?

Getting a PCC from Delhi again is not a problem. Problem is with Karnal (haryana) police where my wife was living before marriage. They provided PCC to my wife 1.5 years ago but now they r saying to reapply and they would send that PCC application to Delhi office which wud eat a lot of tym. I am telling them to provide new PCC on the basis of older PCC which they issued 1.5 years ago.

If you are now living in Delhi than apply for PCC through Delhi both for you and your wife.
You would need to mention the places where you lived in their forms so the same will be covered.
Secondly you cannot ask them to reissue based on earlier PCC.
You need to submit your passports again. And the info for PCC is already in the passports.
If you feel that it will take more time than write a letter/csq to NDVO stating that you have applied for PCC and that it will take more time and ask the same from them.

No they did not.

I am happy that people r getting in process and NDVO is asking for updated documents, but that has nothing to do with our medicals.

My IP date was Feb3,2012.Was asked by CHC to submit PCC of my elder son (who turned 18 in Nov 2011) by 23 March,2012 which I did. Now what would be the position as there is no news at all?
