Dear, advice how to attend this CIIP session online.

One suggestions is required:

My wife and kid passport are in Italian Embassy in Pakistan for Italian visa. In case, If i receive pp request from CHC, and my wife and kid passports would be in Italian embassy, then what would I do?

It's just a pro-active question. I hope I would get the passports from Italian embassy soon before CHC ask from me

1. Drop email to LVO , that your passports are with Italian Embassy for Visa processing and request extension
2. Contact Italian Embassy to return passport , with undertaking that these will be re-submitted after processing from CHC Islamabad.

3. Contact VAC , Fedex Office , where passports were submitted , they will advise you how to get passports back

I did not get any email from from CHC about passport submission.

Once I get PP request, then I would email CHC.

I am hoping to receive passport from Italian embassy before passport request from CHC

Also highly recommend taking advantage of the MAP ( my action plan) individual session if you can.

if you have received medical or passport request or even visa is issued but you havent yet landed in Canada, then you can register with CIIP at http://www.newcomersuccess.ca/

Once you are registered then they will contact you when a session is scheduled near you.

Please could you let me know if you have submitted your passports to the Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and when? I am trying to estimate the time they are taking to return the passports. My husband has urgent work related travel and hence the panic!

Salam Saeed sb, I applied for CIIP session and they have given date for Dec 9, 2014, whereas we are planning to depart by mid Nov, 2014. Any advice as it has to be pre-departure session. Secondly, how beneficial is IOM pre-departure orientation session. Kindly guide.

Today, online status is showing

"Medical Results have been received"

Nothing changed on my EStatus

It will take atleast 10 - 15 days to appear medical line

and It's not necessary that medical line will appear. There are cases when there is on medical line, and people got visa
