Very long and painful wait of 4 years finally today I received passports
Back from LVO (off course with a PR visa) I am thankful to God and then
To forum members who encourage side by side during this process and
Guided me properly . Also due to forum I have developed
Good relation with few forum members.... Now another phase of life will soon start in canada
And I do hope Allah will give us success in that phase too. Good luck to everyone for
Your process and in sha Allah all of u will achieve it .

God bless u. end of debate from my side. Tc.

Sir (Jimmy) and Mam (NN74), I Love the Debate
I like to add some input from my end
We all are adults, and nobody is forcing anyone here to migrate to Canada, but the reason I see here for migration is mainly to secure the future. Some fellows may be doing well in Middle East or somewhere, but we still want to have security. In middle east once you are done with your job, you got to leave the country, and I believe nobody wants to go back home Pakistan.. Right? I spent 10 years in the USA, and suddenly I arrive in Karachi in 2010 because I got laid off, and could get my visa renewed on time. So don’t want to do the same mistake again. I am from Karachi, I Love Karachi, but still I don’t want my kids to grow there. I don’t like giving my money in the form of Bhaata or parchi, and law and order situation is cheery on the top. Having said that, I would rather make less money but at least watch my kids to have better schooling, and have the peace of mind
I arrived in Toronto with my family (4) in May, spent 10 days at my friends place. During these 10 days I got my SIN, applied for health card (it takes 3 months to kick inn) I got my G drivers License and I bought reasonable car for $3000. It took me 1 month to find an odd job, and altogether 2 months to find a reasonable job. And for the last 3 months, I am sending money to my parents in the States. I never had any driver license assessment from Karachi. I just took the test, I passed all well. Never did any academic/job evaluation, and nobody even asked for it (yes it’s going to be different if you are going to school).
So the bottom line is its all your attitude man. I would say positive can do attitude. There is no harm, absolutely no harm in coming in with the family. So guys don’t hear the negative, trust me life is not bad here.
I am not trying to show off here, but I couldn’t stop myself in writing some positives about starting new life in Canada. Respect to Jimmy and NN74, it’s just my personal view other may differ.

Dear Waiters,

today i checked cic website and and now a new line "Medical results have been received" has appeared exactly 13 days after medical tests.

my question is:

does it mean our medicals (wife+me) are OK or it means they received it and will make judgement later? pls clarify if somebody knows about this issue, thanks in advance for input.
