My visa officer assistant is RIH. for London, on average, how long it takes to return passport.

Hi,
I got an email today from LVO. I was asked to send photocopies of biopage of our passports, police certificates from UK, and proof of fund within next 30 days from today. My visa officer is DXS. Dear smsh, please update your master sheet, and please pray that we receive our medical requests immediately after we send these documents by the first week of January as currently we are travelling India. We are making our trip shorter and will go back to Bangladesh as soon as possible... Hope and pray that all my fellow waiters in this forum get their turns by this month...

Hi All

I had my medicals done in April 2013 and wife's Xray was not done due to Pregnancy. In Nov we got a baby and have sent updated docs of the baby along with POF and all other necessary docs on 13th Dec. In my ECAS its mentioned medicals received when I click "IN PROCESS" as after delivery my wife did the pending X-RAY. Any opinion what the next steps might come. Can they ask passports before our medicals expire in April 2014?

I agree to Nekeol upto an extent & believe that there are problems so we cannot blame all the time VO. Please have a look on below examples/explanations...
Also note that delay in processing could be due to many reasons....by VO / Applicant

(Stage 1)

Delay Due to Visa Office / Visa Officer!
1. Shortage of Expert Staff
2. Strike
3. Staff of Holidays/Sick Leave
4. Delay in BG checks...depends on case to case
5. Quota Limit
6. Others unknown reasons

(Stage 2)
Delay Due to Applicant! At different stages....
1. Mismatch of information in forms ...for example Education & Work Experience does not match with Personal History
2. Inappropriate experience letters & their contradicting evidences
2. Typing Mistakes in Forms ...Travel History and other mistakes like DOB wrongly entered etc....
3. Delay in medical examination due to pregnancy (I mean X-rays)
4. Change in Location (Move from one country to another)
5. Problem in medical results
6. Bad presentation of documents
7. Others unknown reasons


Now lets assume a visa officer has green light to go ahead with your case with Stage 1 but he get stuck on Stage 2 due to any above reason....
Another reason for delay is that if VO gets 10 cases and fine 5 well preseneted and without mistakes with full supporting documents that crosses stage 2 these applicants gets Visa...

Any ways this is just my own imagination since time to pass karnaa hai...
I pray that all applicants should get Visa ASAP so we can sleep well..

The bright side is :

It took 1 month from medical OR 14 days from rprf/pcc for kisantay boy to get PPR....people have to wait for months n months after medical, and sometimes have to go through re-medical even....so Its a very good speed considering he is from MI-1, and submitted full docs in Feb 2011.

My dear, there are hundred of cases like that, nothing special!

Even bad side is that most of the processing done in an year only while 2 years wait, wouldn't it?

Or shall you give water coolers to all such visa officers? (kidding)

Water cooler is only given to 'special' people not to everyone.

Wat I recently revealed is NOT guess game...its an inside information of how LVO works BY A LVO EMPLOYEE himself, since I spoke to him personally (he was my cousin s friend, I never knew it, both live in UK, I found this out this year)....so its authentic info (leaving aside whether its ethical or unethical to reveal such info)...anyways...as I said...no point arguing...u ve already won the water cooler and people can decide who to believe and who not to believe.
