I received my PPR 1 today via email! I've couple of questions which needs to be addressed urgently!

Q1) I'm working in Dubai rite now and my wife is in Khi. I updated CHC in June 2013 after sending medicals that I've moved to Dubai but they have sent me the instructions of PPR-1 for Islamabad! Now my question is that should I remind them that I've moved to Dubai and living here so they can send the other instruction letter?

Q2) My wife is in khi and she doesn't have residence of UAE so when PPR-2 arrives so should I call her here and apply to local Canadian Immigration Office or should I go bk to Pak and then send my passport to Islamabad?

Dear Seniors,

I have a small question for which i need your feedback. I belong to october, 12 updated doc group which has been delayed to unspecified time. I added my new born in my application in June this year and Visa officer send me email to show updated POF along with new baby papers which i send along with documents. My question is whether they are gonna ask me POF again at the time of medical? Its been quite long since i am maintaining the required amount in my account and I want to draw 40% of amount at the moment for little investment. Looking forward for your valuable input.

hello,

there is a slim possibility that they will ask you POF again as you have recently showed it to them with your new born, as far as withdrawing amount from a/c, it should not be a problem as long as you can balance the required amount in near future.

as you have applied while leaving in pk, you are considered an applicant from pk and when you submitted the form, you also mentioned that the application is from pk, so, it will not matter to CIC if you move overseas, hence all your actions and correspondence will be based on pk.

as far as PPR goes, does not matter if it is 1 or 2, the same rules apply, you have to submit it as an pk applicant, whichever visa office is assigned for pk based applicants.

Nayaniasad....his timeline:
NOC: 1111
Initial docs: march 2010
Full docs: june 2010
Wait letter: may 2012
Updated docs: august 2012
Medical: april 2013

On 23 OCT, 2013, he got reply from MCH that background checks r outstanding:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/pakistani-applicants-waiting-for-ppr-stage-1-or-2-letters-from-chc-london-t66770.12615.html

And now after 2 days, today, he got PPR-1:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/medical-results-have-been-received-and-waiting-for-ppr-t137115.2340.html

I personally know someone who got this same "B/G check are outstanding" reply, and after just 3 hours, he got PPR-1 :)

Once again....Been saying it for a year...gonna say it again....b/g check is nothing but TOPI DRAMA....just a copy/paste reply to keep our mouth shut....I even know it now, from an inside source which cannot be revealed. (jimmy leaks) ;) its just a matter of "turn by turn" game...nothing else...WHOEVER got wait letter WILL get visa 100 %.......so sakoon karo dosto, and don't panic/get depressed....2014 will bring good news for everyone.... :)
hay jimmy,

you are always the front runner of giving hope and encouragement to all of us, thanks for that, and like always you are quite right in prediction, hope we all will get visa and no rejection as this stage, BUT, for the time being, just cant wait anymore for this MR request to arrive :) :) :) i am hoping i will at least get it within this year.

Inshallah no rejection scene yaar...just "wait game"...its a random tukka/luck system...its that children's game "inni minnie mina mo/akur bakar bumbay boo" :) ......anyone can get lucky anytime....but yes, wait for MR is very frustrating...all we can do is be patient, not do any stupid move (like send CSI with abuses to visa office) and just pray our turn comes soon...2014 will be a good year for us all, inshallah...praying all forum friends get MR soon...hang in there soldier...almost there, not too far now !!! :)

In reply to my CSI to clarify mentioning Medical validity in last mail, while I am still waiting for medical instructions since last year, received this reply

"Apologies, this was an error on our part. Your medicals have not been issued yet. Once the background checks have been completed we will be in contact with further developments for the processing of your file".

Hi SMSH,

Sorry to bother you however I guess we are on similar status of the application. As you are based in Abu Dhabi and VO is London, where did they send your medical results? Is it in India?

My VO is London however based also in GCC. I received my medical request last Sept 2013 and had done it this month. However the accredited hospital told me that they sent the medical results in India. They have informed me that all medicals done in GCC regardless of which VO, they have to send all medicals in India. They said it started last August. Is this true?

Normally it has nothing to do with India...but have you applied first from India and then moved to GCC...
