YES wife statments are accepted by VO as POF. I did the same.

I applied for immigration in 2010. it's been three years now and last update I had was that the London office was processing my documents.
I got a letter in 2012 that it'll take 6-12 months and I have to wait .......... now 12 months are over and I've written case specific query twice and haven't received any response so far (last I wrote a week ago).

Should I write again? or wait .......... any suggestions ?

Now a days , LVO is busy in issuing PPRs and VISA but not showing such urgency for issuing Medicals.

No one know when they will resume issuing MD.

They are busy clearing all backlog due to strike , their strategy no-01 is to issue Visa for all those whose medicals have been doen , in order to avoid expiry of Meds , and completing their Visa Quota for 2013.

As u sent csi a week ago so I think you should send next csi after a month
