Thank you so much for ALL wishing me good luck. However, I am stuck with UKBA now. I called up to make an appointment for medical and was told that I must bring my valid passport whereas, my passport is still with UKBA since December 2012 and still under process.

I am so frustrated now as no immigration system has a fixed time frame to proceed. Any suggestion what should I do? Days are passing by and I got only 60 days to complete medicals... :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Dear Rups,
I was thinking the same for you as you mentioned earlier that your application with the UKBA is still pending. In this situation, I think you have only one option to receive your passport back from the UKBA. Withdraw your application from the UKBA and ask them to send your passport back immediately on an urgent issue. But having said that, I would also ask you to discuss this matter with a UK immigration lawyer if possible. Plus, you can also ask the canadian medical team where you booked your appointment for the medical if they would accept notarized photocopy of your passport which I doubt they will. Anyway, take your chances. Finally, please try to discuss with a UK immigration lawyer before withdrawing your current application with the UKBA.

Thanks! I already requested to medical team and they told they require original valid passport. after withdrawing application, I must leave the country and all correspondence in UK :( :( :( Then again change of address and update in the system, visa office change, a lot hassle... Feeling so down with this sort of immigration system

Please don't feel so much down, for every problem there is a solution. I am sure you don't have to leave England just after your withdrawal request, please discuss the matter with a renowned UK immigration lawyer. You might be able to stay in the UK for a minimum of 3-4 months if you apply through FLR-O with the help of the lawyer to allow time for your canadian visa stamping. moreover, if you leave UK after your medical you don't have to change your VO, we left UK one month ago and notified LVO of our address change and they replied that they received our request and updated the address in the file. Our VO has not changed from LVO to anywhere because they have already started our visa application processing. So, don't let this medical test opportunity just go by for the UK immigration.

Can anyone please share e-mail address to get medical assessment appointment from IOM Lahore. Many thanks

Also what should be detail written in e-mail. Do I need to give detail of all the applicants? If yes what details are required.

AOA,

Alhamdulillah………

Requested for UAE PCC which they deliver at home in a day or two by empost…Thanks to Nekeol who advised to visit Musaffah Police stattion , it was so smooth took just 15 minutes to apply for me and my wife without any photos or finger prints….as we also provided them a copy of UAE ID Card. So as soon as I receive the PCC will send it by FedeX as usual

Finished e-Medical for full family and in two days insha Allah they will submit all reports to CIC online…It was so easy and Dr. took hardly 5 minutes to check all 4 of us including interview…….So quick… No Forms and no formalities… The rest of process took some time like, online form filling (done by nurse) and Blood test, X-rays, urine test, we finished everything within 3 hours and I hope insha Allah there will not be a problem and soon PPR will follow…

One question: they gave me a print out from e-online system with bar code as a reference that our medical is done
Should I send a copy of these with PCC…what you advise?

Request you all to keep us in your special prayers………….
I also pray that all waiting for Visa at any stage may get things done super fast….

Wassalam
SMSH
