Today,i was thinking that what is the average duration between MR and PPR1 among those who have received the 6-12 months or 18 months letter. For this purpose, i have done a small analysis of the sheet which SMSH is maintaining on Google Docs because before the medicals, it is only painful because of the long wait but when an applicant appears in the medical, the real countdown starts after it because he has to travel within the validity of the medicals and the medicals are valid for 1 year only so the more early he got the PPR 1, PPR2 and the visa, the more early and with more convenience he can make all the travel arrangements.
Although, they do the background checks in between these 2 stages i.e. the MR and PPR1 and there is not defined time period to complete it but obviously, after the medicals, we got more eager to hear any news from the CHC.
Therefore, today, i have decided to analyze all the 33 cases (including 6-12 months, 18 Months and both from London and Paris and also some of those have received their PPR2 as well) and checked that how many of them received their PPR1 in how much time? I have concluded the following results:
- Total Cases Who Received PPR1 Were 33
- 15 Cases Received PPR1 in Less Than 3 Months ( 45% )
- 14 Cases Received PPR1 in More Than 3 Months But Less Than 6 Months ( 42% )
- 4 Cases Received PPR1 in More Than 6 Months But Less Than 10 Months ( 12% )
The bottom line is that the majority ( 87% ) received their PPR1 in less than 6 months or we can also say that after PPR2 and visa stamping, they will have around 4 months to conclude all the things and to pack up.
Finally, best of luck to all of the applicants. May Allah bring their PPR1, PPR2 and Visa Stamping as soon as possible. And Yes, don't forget to give me plus 1 if you like this analysis.
