Dear Friends

Recently I have renewed our Passports and e-mail scan copy, and I asked to send hard copies or not and also status of my case. Today after one week I have received following reply

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please be advised that the file is currently undergoing background checks, this can be a very lengthy process that can take several months. We will contact you once that is completed. We are unable to provide you with an exact time frame for completion of these checks.

Please also be advised that hard copies of passports are not required.

Sincerely,

i told you before that we will not get MR so early and it will be end of 2013 or Jan-2014 to get MR, at last now, you realized, and that's good not to live in bubbles.

But my BZ2 mention : BFD 12-09-2013 : next step security and medical in my GCMS report.
Pray for me if I get Medical on mentioned date .

deal all i have noticed my
SELECTION DECISION (SELDEC) : 4 wich means
* 1 passed
* 2 passed on discretion
* 3 OIC required (pro-Proclamation cases)
* 4 waived
* 5 failed
* 6 failed on discretion
* 7 withdrawn
* S passed (H & C consideration) (for Refugees only)

what is waived ?

While reading my recently recieved CAIPS notes i noticed one thing i would like experts to comment or share knowledge about it

where it say about my new BFD its written like this

Paper file sent to ISD File BFD to BZ2 on 24 -08-2013

What does this ISD means ? Is it islamabad or what. However on this date i got a PCC request.

While comparing my previous CAIPS notes requested in 2012 its written like this for my Bfd

Paper file sent to PA File BFD to BZZ on 16-03-2012

Those who have requested CAIPS and have got it can please comment on it.

Thanks

Waived means, interview waived... but this is not confirmed as we had a debate on this once and found only one case where person was called for interview with SELDEC 4, I dont know his name but I think his ID was Lhr_montreal .....

I dont think ISD stands for Islamabad, its name of some dept or VO...... what else is written as comments in your notes? this can help you understand it more clearly

why they issue wait letters?
Hi Dear,
You are lucky and not applied under LVO otherwise you would have never asked this question:)
Any ways congrats on your progress in NDVO you are almost in Canada!

minesh said:
btw what is wait letter and why they send it?
Normally CIC -LVO can answer this question because they did this action and sent a letter to many to wait for 6-12 months followed by further letter to wait 18 months
Some lucky applicants got visa and some are stuck with MR / UDR
So our cases are eligible but seems they are overloaded with work
and can't help us all like NDVO, please shift some officers to LVO so they can process case faster
On top of it there is some sort of strike going on which can delay further our cases
I hope it still have your question unanswered then please send email to LVO and may be they can answer it in a better way...
