on my first page of GCMS starts with Medical information printed.
and on bottom : line written :
Paper File Sent to PA: File BFs to: BZ2 on 12-09-2013 : MicroLocator.
I think this mean my medical in on or after next 12-09-2013.
What is your opinion?

Sorry boss no idea on MR. I have been waiting for last 10 months after UDR. But each case is different and have different timelines.

I say, PCC before MR is VERY normal....everyone I know got PCC request before MR.....some got it separately, some got it with MR, some got it with udr......this has been done since 2012.....I know someone, who got JUST PCC request and then got "MR/rprf/pof/imm008/travel form" after 6 months....

Not trying to disagree...just trying to understand your point of view

P.s: that we all know.....they r collecting docs...asking some PCC....asking some POF....asking some UDR.....asking some PCC/rprf (oct 2012 udr)...my point is: "No one is ahead or behind..We r ALL at the same level UNTIL someone gets MR"....and your point was : "E-holders are ahead of PCC holders and are at a safer level"...that's wat u said , right ??
....And I said I disagree with that...

For me, Currently, our files r more incomplete than the ones who got PCC, ....and the "MOST complete files before MR" are of that of oct 2012 udr people.....so I don't understand your theory of "completness of files".....if according to u, E-holders files were complete , then they would ve sent us MR, not an E-number ....kher...I guess I'm not able to ask properly n u re not able to tell properly about this "completeness theory" ...so let's leave it coz for me, anyone without MR is at the same level....which is : "No where"

I am sorry if I missed things but I saw it rare, yes it is normal to get it with MR or UDR, or when MR is on way ( as it was happening in 2012 when they were processing things differently so people got UDR along with PCC request and MR followed)..... Asking only PCC without anything, I didn’t notice it as routine, sorry if I missed or not updated.... If it is so thanks for adding to my knowledge
One more thing bro, when I say file completeness, I consider their workforce shortage, they are not handling things as they were before, I guess you updated on this workforce thing .... so what I feel, they are now checking our sent UDRs, asking for updates where they feel its required. As you messaged about Murtaza Abbasi who is one of us, since he got 'E" grade , his BFD is 12 Sep, so we might hear from them around that date and it could be MR.
Lastly as you said, if we are the ones with complete docs, we should get MR instead of E file number... In contrast to that, if we are the ones having incomplete files then we would have gotten the update request instead of E file number .............As you said at the end, no one can predict anything can happen, E files might get transferred to Uganda

what is BZ2?

Understanding between CAIPS - normally 8-10 pages /GCMS 35-40 pages


CAIPS is short for 'Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System', which is the name of the computer system historically used by Citizenship & Immigration Canada to process all visa applications in overseas offices, such as permanent resident visas, work permits and study permits. The CAIPS system is slowly being superceded by the new GCMS computer (Global Case Management System) but older files are still held within CAIPS.
When a immigration application arrives at the visa office, the immigration officers create a CAIPS file. It is the CAIPS file number that is printed on an Acknowledgement of Receipt ('AOR'). The CAIPS file number is normally the letter "B" followed by 9 digits, e.g. "B 123 456 789", although for a study permit, it will begin with an 'S' and for a visitor visa application it will begin with a 'V'. Newer file numbers often begin with E or EC.
CIC's computer systems - CAIPS, FOSS and GCMS - maintain all information relevant to your permanent residence immigration or visa application, including :-
• notes and comments from all the visa officers that have reviewed your application
• points computations relevant to your application
• background checks consisting of security clearances and criminality checks
• medical assessments
