I am not convinced with your statement, please give some details why you think like that...
In my opinion something is really important happening to our files
Most probably they are scanning all documents and inputting all data provided in our forms but after their verification / satisfaction so later on they will be no need to see the originals by any officer.
And I hope this step is taken to make the process more smooth and also could be preparation to avoid delays due to strike. Any ways in few weeks they have to start MR to make a decision on our files in 2014
As per the UDR letter. Lets see in coming weeks what comes out of the BFD patari
as per my observation you can go to next step whatever it is + / - 1 month from BFD
so max by mid of Sep some applicants should get MR / E file number

In my opinion, those who have received these file number transfer should apply for CAIPS / GCMS immediately so that at least in next 40 days, we will get to compare the comments by the VO and know what exactly had happened.

Information from forms and documents is already entered in the system of CAIPS/GCMS waiting_man got his E a year ago and the conversion to E is totally the software thing and I don't think that it has anything to do with decision maker with the comments about the MR I agree that it's time to start simething

These days CAIPS / GCMS notes are taking around 45-50 days instead of 30 days. So expect further slight delay. I have applied for my CAIPS notes for the fourth time in last one year through www.caips.ca, just a few days before you applied and still waiting...First two times it took exactly 30 days, last two...45 days+ with one still counting!

I applied for the 3rd time now and this delay could be due to strike thingy!
I received my first GCMS in 5 weeks & Second in 3 weeks and now for Third 4 weeks are over and hopefully I can get it in 5 weeks max insha Allah

But again getting GCMS is nothing if there is no progress / clear signals for future… Just what we get another Due Date

As soon as first person from 18 months UDR will get the MR that will bring a sakoon ka saans to all of us that they really wanted to issue the Visas…as promised…

Because logically people who got UDR in Feb/Mar for them +/- 6 months already gone and then if they get MR in August/Sep which will be valid for 1 year so there Decision made has to be done approx next +/- 6 months and then there will be some time to prepare for departure…This is that what I think and again this is all my own ideology. Practically we don’t know what is the internal policies of CIC to issues the Visa….when & from which office….we will have to wait for the first drop of Rain……and that is MR….please pray for each other and insha Allah soon things will come in our favours….
