Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

Dear folks,

I am silent member of this form. This form is really useful. I appreciate everyone for their contributions...
I passed through medical exam on 7 January 13 and still waiting for Passport request 1/2. I contacted with LVO and received a reply that my background checks are still undergoing and have no idea when it would be completed... my e-CAS is still showing 'IN-PROCESS'.
I ordered my CASIP notes couple of months ago and found on it (though most of the areas are blank):
Medical Stage M01; Validity 7 January 2013; Status – CRIM 1 and SEC (blank) What does this mean?

PAPER FILE SENT TO PA FILE B'FD TO: ISD ON 26-04-2013 Microlocator: (blank) What does this mean?

And what is the meaning of ADVI ?

While in front other sections like Security/Other REQ/Medical/Final Decision is ‘0'; and in front of Meets Definition/Review Officer/Reason of Refusal/ Record check/Interview Scheduled the area is blank – only 1 is written with wait letter date in front of PS Decision and 4 is written with wait letter date in front of Selection decision. My total points are 74. Do you have an idea where I am standing?

Please share your expert opinion, knowledge and experience.

Special thanks to Qorax, PMM, Biju, Shanks74, Marchie, Rejis, bestpal, (all members of 6 to 12 months letter thread) and all Dubai applicants....(please forgive me if I missed anyone due to excitment).

I have learn a lot from this forum and will help other members to my best.

Not able to express my feelings and waiting for all members to get their visa very soon.

I am planning to land in August at Toronto and wish to fulfill my dreams at Land of Opportunities.

Based on my limited knowledge on CAIPS (as I also applied twice for it),following seems sure:

Medical Stage M01; Validity 7 January 2013; Status – CRIM 1 and SEC (blank) What does this mean?
- Medical has been received and your medical result severity is 01 (least) , Maximum is 07.
- CRIM= 1 : CRIME RECORD = PASSED
- SEC= (Blank) : SECURITY CHECK = AWAITED/UNKNOWN

PAPER FILE SENT TO PA FILE B'FD TO: ISD ON 26-04-2013 Microlocator: (blank) What does this mean?
- PA : It means location of your physical file.
- FILE B'FD TO ISD ON 26-04-2013 : Your file's Bring-forward-date (reminder for file keeper - code name: ISD) was 26-04-2013. It means your case was supposed to be processed to next steps(PPR-1) if Security clearance would have been received by 26-04-2013.

And what is the meaning of ADVI ?
- not sure of "ADVI". May be if you could share full sentence then one can comment better.

- '0' means neither 'OK' nor 'NO' - 0 means unknown/not-decided/not-entered yet. same is the case with 'blanks'.
- PS Decision=1: PAPER SCREENING DECISION = PASSED
- Selection Decision =4: it means 'waived'. In other words: PASSED

In short, your case was waiting for security clearance till 24 April 2013. As you have not heard from them by today, it means security background check is probably still going on.

The good part is , you are done with medicals and inshAllah you will receive call as soon as security check is passed. Security check is usually taking 4-6 months (though some lucky people got it in within 3 months.)

Need your advice. All my funds are in fixed deposit schemes (DSC's, SSC's etc) and I don't keep much cash in my account as I am not sure when I will be contacted by LVO to provide POF.

Now, my question is whether for POF one needs to show cash balance or these certificates which are infact cash will suffice.

As usual, your feedback/comments/advice will be highly appreciated.

I know..it sucks....unfortunately , we r not in the lucky ones, or average ones.....

NOW, we ALL (u, me, arsh, zeeshan, mian g etc etc) r now in the "LATE/slow luck" category now just pray, we all get it finally, WHENEVER it comes...

I was saying to zeeshan yesterday on phone, that emmoo, mian g, and all OCT 2012 UDR people must be very frustrated on not getting MR by now....really dumb, "first in/first out" not applied....the only rule in this process is "there is no rule" ......its all "tukka/kismat" when your turns comes.....

P.s: and guys plz do not pay attention to rubbish about cases well represented have been sent to paris and london cases r doubtful ...such crap was also said when we got wait letter, that cases which r not very good have been given wait letter.....aisa kuch nahi hai...sub bukwaas hai, don't pay attention to such crap.
Inshallah , we all will get through, eventually...

Kher, personally have kept OCT 2013 for MR and APR 2014 for visa in mind....let's see....

Back to "sleep mode" again, as there is nothing to update cheers.
