In my case, updated documents along with DD for addition of new born was received at London VO on 14th Nov. I sent CSI to days back & got reply yesterday that my file is in process or waiting to be reviewed by immi officer :

AOA Jigs;

Once again have an exciting news to share with u. Just received "Medical Instructions" through email for my self & family. Just to remind u guys, i already received (paper) medicals (Except my Newborn) on Oct 24. Sent updated docs & POF with inclusion of newborn, received by VO LDN on Nov 08th.

On Nov 27th, sent a CSI regarding updation of my status that have resulted in subject "Medical Instructions". Subject mail has been immediately followed by another email, my initial impression was that it's a repetition but in 2nd mail they have also requested to submit "RPRF".

Most important thing for all those who are waiting for updated docs request. Remember, discussion regarding "Schedule A Form" personal history for Past 10 years or since 18th birthday whichever is "most recent". Jimmy & Cock n bull have proven to be right. I just submitted history for past 10 years & it was not enough. With this email they have also sent a format to log my personal history uptill 18th birthday.

Another point of interest or discussion is POF. In my case i submitted my 18th months statement of "Investment in Mutual Funds". Have been investing in "mutual funds" mainly because of Tax benefit (Rebate). Along, with it i also attached my Bank statement for past 18th months (but it was only like 125000 Rs). Lastly, i also took a print out of my "Wealth Tax Statement for Tax year 2011-12" from FBR website to support my investment as "officially Declared".....

P.S: (Especially for my Fav Jimmy bhai).......VO has instructed me to discard our previous medical forms & given 30 days to submit Meds...

May you please let me know how much was expected to show as POF? Because I have to show 2100000/- Pkr but i only keep maintening 1200000/- pkr bcs I have invested rest amount and worried what if they ask my again after 3 years? please reply, that would be kind of you.

Heartiest Congratulations WAY !!!

I requested an appointment to IOM yesterday on phone and they booked it for 19th December, 2012. Later on, I realized that this appointment will not be convenient for me. Tomorrow morning, I called to IOM and requested to re-arrange my appointment and settled to 21st of this month.
Following are some suggestions/info that can be helpful:
- As suggested by “hinnajamal” earlier, better to call IOM during low-hours i.e. around 8:00 AM. My yesterday call at noon time encountered 15 minutes wait before it could get through whereas today morning call got connected immediately
- All appointments are booked by Islamabad office of IOM. Call UAN number 051 111 466 472 OR you can send them a mail to MHDislamabad @ iom.int
- Keep following information handy [ for principal applicant and other family members(if apply)] before calling to IOM :
 Passport number
 Date of birth

please note IOM karachi asked me to submit 5 pics as per IOM specification

- passport size
- White color back ground
- lite color clothing

What was date stamp on your letter & how many days did they give u to submit the docs (i mean the deadline). Just asking because in my case the updated doc letter was dated: Oct 12, 2012 & i had to submit docs in 30 days i-e (Nov 12, 2012) but that deadline was further increased till Dec 12, 2012 when i informed VO about addition of newborn in my application. And yesterday, it was Dec 12 when i received new meds. So, in my point of view my new BF'D was changed to Dec 12 & i received update exactly on that date.....I hope similar trend should follow on all those who have sent updated doc.....

Brother for a family of four members we had to show 20, 600 CAD (Almost, 2100000 Rs), same as u. Now, where are u investing, like in my case i was investing in "Mutual Funds" that are "money based instruments", hence have been accepted. As per current trend, they are asking for updated POF for most of applicants, suggest you to be on safer side & manage required amount in your account.

During that time, if I receive medical, can I go for medical without passport or I need to make any arrangements before I post my passport to UKBA?

In my medical instruction, have been advised to present "Original Passports" when going for meds, otherwise meds authority may refuse to conduct medicals.

15th oct was the date mentioned on updated document request letter.

I hadn't asked for extension and sent package containing updated documents along with DD & & other required documents for addition of new born. This package was received by London VO on 14th Nov as per FedEx ( my deadline of submission was 15th Nov).

So, as per your calculations, I should receive request of next step from VO by 15th of this month.

I think if you present valid reason with proof, attested photocopies will be acceptable. Even in your instructions is "MAY REFUSE ", better go to/ring any DMP in UK and ask for their view on the matter.
