I am really looking forward to the responses of those applicants who applied in April 2010 and received wait letters.. Hope to hear about their medical requests soon.

Hi All,

First of all COngrats to ASK.

Now coming to my case

I applied back in March 2012 and submitted full docs in July 2010. Got my 6-12 months wait letter on 20th April.

Today i received a letter from CHC London asking for

1) New Application for Permenant residence IM0008
2) New Schedule A/ Background declaration
3) New Additional family Information Form IMM5406
4) Right of Permenant Residence Fee (Isnt it something that is paid after medicals). Again i am hoping what the are doing????
5) Original Police Certificates for myself and my wife for (Pakistan and Angola) though my wife never stayed there and i too went for a training course for 15 days (Don't know why they are asking for this). I informed them when i moved to UK one and half years ago, but they did not ask one for UK. Strange. Hopefully they know what they are doing?????? Though i doubt

6) Teo fotographs for each family member

7) IMM5562E (Travel Form)

I think to get the forms and refill these is not gonna take more than one week but to get police certificates is gonna be hell of a job as i am here in UK.
Any ideas how i could get this Police certificate from Pakistan in couple of days and could my Abba g apply for this on my behlaf.
What to tell them about Angola?
Should i apply for the UK police certificate now and send it as well as (like i said they are not aware what they are doing).

Is there any website where i could get all these forms all together in one go (as its been a long time i gave up on Canadians and forgot almost all the links). ANY SUGGESTIONS would be appreciated

The BAD THING is they have crossed 90 days and have asked me to produce these things in 30 days. Like i said forms ok but police certificates (Dont the have an embassy in Pakistan, DOnt they know how long it takes to get one).

Anyways, my advice stop wasting time and all of you should start filling the forms (as Like Death and Customers, Canadian Embassy can call you anytime).

I got my wait letter on 21 March 2012 and my MR was issued on 10th Oct 2012 from London Visa Office(LVO). I seem to be one of the first few to receive the MR with this timeline (with March 2012 wait letter) as I have not seen anyone else posting about the same recently.

So, buckle up guys...CIC seems to be working hard at clearing the backlog. I wish by the end of Nov 2012, almost all of you with the wait letter must be getting the MR(In that case, there will be a sudden high demand for air tickets to Canada from around the world - just joking)...Keeping fingers crossed. May no one be spared from getting their medicals soon(and clearing them too)...Good luck.

The address that is printed on the (Standard letter) is the one where to send it or

Firstly congrats.

Asking for RPRF before medical is absolutely fine...since RPRF is always paid 'before' or 'with' medical.....so that's fine..

But yeah...actual blunder is "asking for PC from Angola" , since u have lived there for 15 days, and your spouse never went there, then both of you should technically not be asked for PC from Angola (since neither of u lived there for 6 months)....I think u should email them and explain this thing once and see wat they say !!!. But problem is time issue....they take ages to reply to email..and u just have 30 days....I think email them, but meanwhile start your effort of getting the PCC too, INCASE they do not accept your request and still want it. But do email for sure!! That's wat I would ve done if I was in your shoes. (Since I think this is a mistake on their part n u should atleast highlight it and confirm if they REALLY want the PCC from angola)

Tricky situation.. Take more suggestions before finalizing your next plan of action.

I think LVO is taking 4 files randomly from the pile of wait letter holders weekly, last week there were 4 and this week 3 so far

Dear, things from LVO are getting very uncertain, I need you both to help all forum members by sharing ONE info of your CAIPS/GCMS. If you people have ever received CAIPS/GCMS, which PCC reports were mentioned there in addition to your current country of residence means PCC from UAE (ASK) & ANGOLA (Cuccoo0) were mentioned there?

In this forum, lot/some members have visited other countries for less than 06 months, therefore, your this timely help will lead us way in advance to tackle situation before getting our Dox update requests from LVO.
 
Serious Suggestion​

Dear all members,

I was thinking about one idea and was not sure to suggest but this website which remained down for several hours encouraged/forced me to share with you all.

On this forum we all are putting time for one common need of us “IMMIGRATION TO CANADA”, which gave us chance as well to help others with our experience or knowledge and seek the same. We know each another from around couple of years and meanwhile trust been built and I feel we are a family in which some are very active members and lot in silence mode.

I suggest that we should share at least our e-mails and create an IMM group in our outlooks as a stand by or parallel system to this www.canadavisa.com forum to share our updates & experiences with each another specially if this forum breaks down or remain close for maintenance etc. Current crucial time does not allow us to be away from the UNCERTAIN requirements of LVO, therefore, being 1st I am disclosing my personal e-mail and hope other members will also think on my concern seriously.
