i have used a consultancy of an agency in DUBAI..So can I apply CAIPS notes on my own or it has to be through the agency.
If i can order caips on my own whats the procedure...

dear, i have also my consultant, and they are doing everything on my behalf to get caips and its for free, i am not paying anything, me and wife only signed a form and send to them, request your consultant to do it for you, take care.

Dear all,

I received my 6-12 months waiting letter on 05-04-2012. I ordered my CAIPS and it mentions that my submitted PCC have expired and they would need Police Certificates again from Pakistan. However I have not received any request for updated docs till date. My 6 month will complete on 04-Oct-2012, so any request for updated documents would probably be after this date. Since I am going to Pakistan for Eid, it will be easier for me to obtain police certificates now from Lahore in person. I need your advice on the following:
1)Should I go ahead and get PCC now or should I wait for CHC request.?
If I get police certificates now, what would be their validity for CHC, one year or 3 months? Remember I already submitted my PCC but they have expired as per CAIPS notes.

PCC is not valid for an year so it is better to get it on CHC request, there is a procedure in place to issue it in absence of a person. Moreover, if you issue it now, it might or might not help you, all depends when CHC will request for it so totally your call

but i heard now a days police certificate takes 2 month, back in 2010 it took me 10 days

how much time would we have to submit the documents to CHC upon receiving their request? what if we dont have enough time to make the PCC? phir to pesay hi khilanay pare gay....

Bro, consider yourself holding a MR, ready to send your updated docs... PPR 1 would be the next step.... to paisay hi khila kar lay lo, kissi jhanjat main parnay say bahtar hey... Its not about right or wrong but we all know we will be having limited time... so with money, its only done in few days...I got mine easily by using same option

From which city? Also do we have to get PCC from different cities in Pakistan where we have lived for more than six months or just one PCC from Pakistan is enough. I have spent two years in Karachi, so should I get PCC from both Karachi and Lahore?

Well I got for both khi & Lhr, some say it's one for a country but am not sure... It's better to have two three four etc to be on safe side instead of extending wait times more if further requested by VO

Dear Arsh Ali, do u have any ideas on how many days/monthes they usually give for the applicant to send his update socuments back ??
and in your opinion, if i recived my wait letter on the end of april when can i expect my update document req & MR ??

Dear no one can surely tell this as our BFDs are of next year, letter is of 6-12 months so in my opinion expect after 6 months and if we won't listen from them after six months then I am afraid it would be something close to our BFDs... I guess they give 60 Or 90 days for docs, depending on the case... So expect 60 as our CAIPS are even showing updated docs they need
Unfortunately, we all can guess only and hope that sep brings good news for us... Cheers
