PCC is not for every city you have lived within the same country.....I have lived in 6 cities within Pak and only submitted PCC for Lahore and Visa office is alright with it.

I would rather get it when the first person on this forum gets MR. It would probably be you since you have the earliest 6-12 date. Do let us know when you get hold of MR. ;D 8)

Dear
PCC (Policer clearence certificate) is mandatory over 18 in any district you lived more than 6 months .Every district police office has their own data and issue PCC for the person lived in their jurisdiction after confirming/clearing from concerned police station and it normally takes 3-7 days if not otherwise used a special channel.

This is an ongoing debate :) but in my opinion one PCC, from countries having centralized DB, might serves the purpose... But as I suggested above its better to have two three or more PCCs than increase in wait times, if VO asks for it...
Waisay CAIPS Kay end par show horaha hey I guess that how many PCCs are required

It's different set for each case as per requirement... CAIPS is showing details in our case

CIC do not have a requirment for PCCs from different cities within the same country. OP6 manual says submit a PCC from any country you have lived in for 6 months or more. There is nothing in their manuals which tells an aplicant to do this so this is s misconception and unneccesary wastage of time in obtaining PCCs from different cities within the same country.

Bro read again, its country or territory u have lived for 6 d
Consecutive months... Anyways, as I said its a debate and logically speaking, one PCC from countries having centralized DB might serves the purpose.. But in Pakistan, I don think so we have such DB, yaha to cars ka Pata nai banday to Phir ziada hain :), this confuses and makes people interpret 'territory' as districts/cities etc.
If one lived in tribal belt, police don't have record of him if he moves and start living in khi... We might be looking it so critically but there is no harm in having two or three PCCs in my opinion... ur point has also a logic that there must be one per country....... so everyone should do what he or she feels comfortable with :)

Here is the extract from CIC's website and territories are independent areas such as FATA in Pakistan. so if you have lived in Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Quetta, Peshawar & Fata from 18 years of your age than you just need a PCC from the current city you are living in and FATA. PCC from current city covers your current country and PCC from FATA would cover the territory clause...... Centralized DB and all other such logics are not explained anywhere in CIC's manual, website or any other authentic source of information....Hope it helps everyone.

Who needs a police certificate?

In general, you and everyone in your family who is 18 years of age or over need to obtain a police certificate. You must obtain a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.
The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application.

If the original certificate is neither in English nor in French, submit both the certificate and the original copy of a translation prepared by an accredited translator with your application.

Thats number of applicants within the same application PCCs are required for. e.g. my application includes 3. one is below 18 so caips is showing PCC* 2....hope this clarifies any ambiguity.

:) bro I sent two and so many others did as well so that's what I was trying to share, I already said ur point has logic... Secondly I am not debating as sending two won't impact ones case...and I also said its ones will he opt for one or for two, i mentioned what i did .... Hope it's clarifies that I am not in disagreement with ur point of view... And that is why I also said to check CAIPS as its showing number of PCCs as I just wanna make things clear not debate on anything :)... Cheers bro :)
