I have almost the same notes in my GCMS issued on 05th June'12.

I want to confirm/match one point here, most probably on page 03 of your GCMS file, under “CLIENTS DETAILS” sub part “COUNTEFOIL REQUIRED = YES”, could you pls confirm status of this particular point in your file (Yes/No).

Addition to this, all my family members “Counterfoil Check” is “Yes”.

All other respected members of this forum having GCMS or CAIPS are requested to comment.

I personally feel that our credentials (I still have not sent originals to LVO), work experience(s) (Original exp. letters sent to LVO are still with them) etc will be verified as in the 6 – 12 month letter it’s clearly stated the “Admissibility & Verification are deem necessary”.

Rest seniors can add their expert opinion.

Verification means: Criminal & Security Checks
and If I am wrong they should have published a general announcement on their website that FSW1 should wait for 1 or 2 years without any explanation
they don't need to design such a long letter and sent by mail and online in process status is updated.
So conclusion is:
Who did not satisfy the officer due to any reason has already received the rejection letters and
who got the 6-12 months wait letter, simply will get the VISA but first they will see the priority profession in FSW2 or FSW3
Don't worry insha Allah things are in line with us and the good news will start very soon, I hope from October...or maximum start of 2013
Also this is not a joke that they have to promise again and again they are paying salaries to officers for not sitting free on the other hand they are not taking new cases from July onwards, so then what they will do in this time....they are preparing medicals for us and doing background checks....just be patient and wait for good time...

last year in jan i guess, CIC verfifed my work experience by e mailing my current employer..

Agreed. its a WAIT GAME now, for the "club 6-12". ....

Also, another thing to keep in mind is that we are only lookin at forums...and assesing their working speed. There are thousands of cases that are NOT on forum.
For pakistan, There are about 200 cases on this forum..(50 cases of 6 to 12 club+120 cases with medical....
Even if we count applicants from other countries, what are we looking at ?? May be 2000 or 3000 or 5000 or 10,000 cases on forum (max).....but the VO has about 1 lakh cases to finalize (what I last read from Kenney's statement "we have brought down the backlog to 110,000 cases by elmininating the pre 2008 cases).....
so forum cases are a small percentage of the total cases pending, but yes, it does give an idea of the trend. I'm sure they r not sitting idle, they must be doing something as per insturctions, in the direction of clearing the backlog.
Anyways. We need to be be patient now, as it could take the end of this year, or even early part of next year to get medicals.

Everytime we panic, we need to rememeber one thing-"If we had gotten JD mismatch, this journey would ve been over already. So we r lucky that there s still a HUGE chance for this thing to work out InshaAllah. Jis Allah nay yahan tuk pohanchaya hai, wo agay bhi le jai ga" so chill karein bhaio I know, intezar eik mushkaam hai, but jahan 2 saal intezar ker liya hai, few months aur sahee

Totally agree with you both.

Small proof of VOs not sitting idle that the 6-12 M letter i got marked date of 01st May'12 which is global "Labour Day" (gazette) holiday.

They won't be sitting idle. I'm sure. They are Canadians n they do work hard! There must be fixed protocols to follow and there may be something significantly ( can be positive too) there in our files ( so called wait letter holders) for which they have kept us aside. Or thought it's better for these people to wait some time.

Dear, believe it or not but they are very lazy even more than Arabs (especially Saudis) and it’s true as my two elder brothers are dealing with them since last 04 years.....

Well, That's becoz labour day in canada is 3rd September , not 1st MAY.. CHC all around the world, will follow Canadian Holiday Calender, not the local country 's or the rest of the world calendar. Since canadian embassy is a part of canada (not london or islamabad or new dehli etc).
