Waisay, on a lighter note may be the immigration minister liked the 70's tv series MISSION IMPOSSIBLE as a child...so decided , "If I become a minister of something , someday, I will name it MI (ministerial instructions)" ... esp Tom cruise ke latest Mission Impossible movie is called "MI-4, Ghost Protocol" ......and I feel MI-4 of canadian immigration next year, will also be ghost protocol, since only ghosts will qualify in it not regular people...

Received a letter from Canadian Immigration (I think it is called AOR) dated April 16, 2012 along with some of my original documents stating "We anticipate being able to advise you of the next processing steps in 6 to 12 months' time".

Was thinking....

Last year, they gave us "one year lollipop with file number".
This year, they gave us "one year lollipop with eligibility letter".

Oh Kenny uncle, twadi mehrbani, ab proper "roti" bhi khila dein

But kya karein, "waqt se pehley aur kismat se zyada kabhi nahi milta".

*sigh*...the wait continues for now...

P.S: They should make their advertisement slogan/caption as :
"Canada Immigration - Ao Wait Karein"

Once again thanks a lot for all your assistance.....I will definitely keep an eye on my email......I have given my office address for postal mails as here in Qatar (infact the whole of Middle East), they have PO Box which is usually in the company's name. Last time when I received the letter from them, it was a registered mail, meaning they got the receipt signed. Any idea whether medical papers will also come through registered mail?


If you don't mind, what is your status?
