Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

We did our medicals in Lahore on 23/10/2013 but medical received line has not appeared on our online status yet. Is it normal? Has any one done medical in Lahore recently? Please let me know whether medical received line has appeared or not on online status?

The applicant who is in GCMS system by default, will get this line ..

It's normal .. I've also done my medical early month of October . Still no line

I doubt very much that it is a typo. It definitely looks like my review has been pushed into 2014 taking me into the 5 year mark. I should also add that my consultant sent in an enquiry and promptly received a response to say " file is in the queue awaiting officer review and at the present time they cannot provide any indication of when this is likely to happen".
So definitely depressing news. Perhaps it's time to move on. I have not received any request for POF or PCC. These were all provided at the time of full document submission.

Just received my GCMS notes - all 34 pages! Security and Criminal checks have not been started. File was last updated on 11/10/2013 and in the Eligibility Assessment section it has the following:

Status : Not Started
Status date : 10 Sep 2013 ( This is the date of the B to E letter)
Due Date : 09 September 2014. ( My 18 month letter was dated 27 Feb 2013, so the due date is just under the 18 month timeline) :-X

we did our medical in iom islamabad on 14/10/2013 and no change in application status,but i got e mail reply from lvo that was ,we receipt medical and awaiting background checking

It is very frustrating indeed. If this is the case then we will have to move on to our plans and forget about immigration for time being as there seems to be no signs of getting it in the near future. May the Almighty ALLAH bless us.

It is one of the worst thing in the word to wait for some......and even you don't know when that will happen.....I would say that we should say thanks to Allah that minimum we are in line and some hopes are there to get positive news in near future...from year 2015 it would be really hard to get the immigration to Canada....due to new system..

It's not gonna be that hard as people think, look at Australia and New Zealand people are still getting immigration with that system the consultants in Canada will make money with the new system

Agreed 100% ......actually Consultants and Employer in Canada will make money with new system and what Canada always wish from new immigrants.........

The new system will not be like simple points based only but they will select the cream which means to my understanding that only thoz people will get response who will have the highest marks like kind of merit system that's people will surely get the Canadian immigration but will not be that easy .....

Consultant is OK will make money as usual but how employers will make money please explain with reference...I have no idea about it....

Through this System Employer in Canada will Offer the jobs to candidate over money to make money ....for only immigration assistant...........and only cream will have chance through other system a normal candidate with be left only for job offer ........
