Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

I was also much surprised to see this today ........first it was 21 months again 23 and now 25 so on.........i think they are not going to start FSW in 2014 they are planning direct EOI in 2015 in the mean time they will clear back log ............i hope so......but we still waiting for medical and after medical to visa stamps it requires also another 6 months.........

25 months are for application received on or after June 26, 2010.
for us it is 43 months.

after june 2010 means the initial app.lications sent to CIO after rule change back in june 2010...this does not not apply to anyone who may have sent full application to VO after june 2010 after recieving AOR from CIO....so he is right...for us 43 months is the avg processing time right now.

My understandings is clear on this it is from the date of application to CIO
as per the status they mentioned clearly that 43 months for thoz who applied before 26 jun 2010
I hope there is no confusion. However applicants still waiting for decision may take more than 43 months as this processing time for this who has already received a decision

This what i have to say ........as I applied in December 2011 so 25 months applies to my app.....

For MI-1: 43 months.....for MI-2: 25 months....

Its clearly written:
Processing time starts from the day the visa office receives a COMPLETE application and ends on the day u reach a FINAL decision....so its from "FULL DOCS to VISA".

PLus, this 43 months is "PAST" processing time....not an indicator of future......for future, it can go up or down so chill karein.....

No, I did not receive any waiting letter......but in back March i was asked to update doc. and till date its another 8 months after submitting updated doc.

There are MI-1 cases which got visa in 30 months (star ali etc), and some who are approaching 48 months (sibbi etc) without visa/medical.....these stats are for 80 percent cases in a specific period.....so don't pay TOO much attention to this (since its an average)....this will keep changing on their past performance.

After observing CIC back log I think they will not announce new noc immigration in 2014....and directly start EOI in Jan 2015.......till that they will clear all backlog like 60000/- app in pipeline.........

Yes you are right its from CIO application date
for me its being > 46 months now. and the funny part is when we applied they said 6 to 12 months
