In response to my email query of 24/05/13 just received reply today (26/05/13) that Background checks are still in progress. My program assistant has also changed from KKB to DXS. Its been nearly 6 months now since updated docs to LVO. Jimmy Page where are you, any prediction dear ?

I got the same reply and my program assistant also changed from KKB ro DXS. I think this change of program assistant will be positive and we will hear good news soon. I have also applied for CAIPS which will receive on 15.5.13.

Those who got wait letter has submitted complete documents. I got 6 to 12 month letter and then my case trfrd to PVO

So why some got 18 months letter and some trfrd to PVO

I feel after some cut off date they have trfrd to PVO

Once an officer has reviewed your medicals that's when you'll see that extra line added. It can be as early as couple of weeks or as late as 1-2 months.

just a Quick Question, as i have to provide updates on these "IMM0008 + IMM5406 + IMM5562 + IMM5669" do i have to provide only for principal appicant or for Spouse as well ???

I have been checking my status since 11 Apr-2013 ( when medical was done) ; it has not updated yet. So you seems right, VO takes 1-2 months probably.

Inshaa-Allah all will pass through these stages sooner or later (aameen).
My gut feelings...regardless medical called or not,12 months or 18 months letter, all cases will finish by December 2013; as VO will have to start new cases as well after 03 may 2013; and for those new cases, processing will have to be very fast; so VO needs to spare human resources engaged with M1/2/3 cases.

In fact, medical line was never added to my eCAS. It went straight from In-Process to Decision Made with the arrival of PPR2. I guess it varies from case to case and not exactly an indication of progress on application. So just relax even if it does not appear.
