Thanks coolguy....I called up my agent again and instead that I have friends who got reply from PVO and are sending details to PVO but they insist that as per instructions they need to send to LVO not PVO.

I am confused.....don't wanna screw last moment....

By the grace of God I have now received the updated document request and medical form from PVO. Alhamdulillah.

Guys I have a question, appreciate if someone can share his / her experience. For Paris visa office the RPRF should be in the name of “Receiver General for Canada” or “Canadian Embassy”. Can someone please share his experience? the information available on the website is contradictory to what we have been doing in past

So,...wat u re saying is : U got medical+rprf on 18th march from Paris....and then got job verification call on 19th march .....hmmm.

Did u change your job during the process and update visa office ??which country r u from..?? R u sure the call was from the visa office ??

We received your application for permanent residence on May 7, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 20, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Paris office. They are pending review.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 12, 2012.

P.s: so does Paris transfer mean 'verification' ?? Waisay , that is SO odd....why send medical+rprf IF u re not sure of the applicant s eligibility!!!

Interesting POINT TO BE NOTED is ....he s got only 4 posts...first post being 9 days old.. let's see, if any old member also gets job verification call...

Dear Ksez, can you share details.. I mean who called, local visa office or its international call....what they asked and who attended call at your office and how its developed that its from VO.... Its gonna be a real unique case if your details are getting verified after getting medicals etc....

I am from Pakistan and I had not changed my job since last 5 years... and the call was from some local number and he ask for my JD and how long I have been working this is company....He mentioned that Is he working as Vocational Trainer?? and my boss confirms him that I am working as IT trainer....

I had asked my consultant for the same reason that why such verification call had been received and he told me that they are doing this to finally check if interview is required or not, if they are satisfied that the applicant is performing the same duties than they will not asked for interview and if the applicant had change this role than they might ask for interview session.

Surprisingly when they issued us 6 to 12 months letter, number games was done at that stage. What is use of PEDEC and SELDEC then if they are doing job verification now. How can they give numbers of experience if they are doubtful of job letters etc. Something somewhere is indigestible !

That's wat I'm thinking too...so weird...

I was telling arsh/zeeshan/2calgary that yesterday, natasha 963 , NDVO case, , MI-1, initial docs in april 2010...full docs in aug 2010... noc 4131, msged me yesterday, and told me she got DM before medical....she s been in process since feb 2012...another MI-1 guy at ndvo got DM before medical , after stayin in process with date for a year (his caips showed everythin ok last year)...don't know wat to make of it.

My status changed other then tuesday, but it is mentioned on the website that usually it changed on tuesday. So keep on checking every day inshallah you will get good news soon. I have sent updated documents in august but still waiting for the response no letter/MR nothing.

chill guys,

nothing to worry about, its just a odd case that this guy got verification call after Med request, this never happens and wont happen to all. so chill, i dont see others will get verification calls at this stage after getting 6-12 months letters, surely none of the CIC visa office has time to do random verification calls to all the wait letter holders, so dont worry, CIC is already in deep s##t, they aint got no time to play. they want to finish with all M-1/2/3/4 all together asap to start on time process by the beginning of 2015.
