Hmm 8 months for Paris VO.... who knows may be by mistake its printed 18 months for all letters issued from LVO ..........

Its great news ....Now Paris is confirmed and official news.....
All Applicants who can see their status VO changed to paris is correct and will get a good news soon....

4. New Additional Family Information Form IMM5406 for yourself and each family member over the age of 18.
5. Copy of passport title page for each applicant. If any of your dependants are included in a parent's passport, please ensure that you apply for an individual passport for each person. Please note that each person will require their own passport at the time of visa issuance.
6. For all applicants with any military service, please provide a copy of the Military Card or Military Exemption Card.

and now i can start believing that they may transfer to Paris whos NOC is still in demand

Check your online status , it should show Paris Visa office information
and if it not working then God knows what will happen

Unlike Oct. and Dec. they are sending the request for updated documents and this letter to selective applicants while in the prior months it was like a rain and LVO was sending these requests on the basis of application recieved dates

I am another victim who also received a same drafted letter to send updated forms within 60 days and not anticipated to make a decision till 2014.

It's now getting in my nerves ..... whether they are working on applications or just dragging time... from 6-12 months and now 18 months...

earlier on which strategy they have sent 6-12 months wait letter?

Sorry to say but I'm totally disagree with your on demand theory.

One of my friend and Jimmy_Page has the same NOC. My friend is being deal by Paris and Jimmy .. You know very well.

So we can't predict VO working at this time.

News Release — Canada Continued to Welcome Highest Sustained Level of Immigration in Canadian History in 2012


Ottawa, February 27, 2013 — For the seventh consecutive year, Canada continued the highest sustained level of immigration in Canadian history, according to preliminary 2012 data released today by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

Canada welcomed 257,515 permanent residents in 2012, well within the Government’s planning range of 240,000 to 265,000 new permanent residents for the year. Each year since 2006, Canada has admitted an average of about a quarter of a million immigrants.

“"Canada has been welcoming not only the highest sustained level of immigrants in Canadian history, we also have, on a per-capita basis, among the highest immigration rates in the world,"” said Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney. “"Immigration is a key part of the government’s plan to grow our economy, spur job creation, and ensure long-term prosperity for all Canadians."”

Over the seven years from 2006 to 2012, Canada averaged approximately 30,250 more admissions per year than in the decade previous, from 1996 to 2005.

“"The government is continuing to move toward a modern and effective immigration system that attract the skilled immigrants that Canada’s economy requires,"” said Minister Kenney. “"This new fast and flexible system will respond more effectively to Canada’s labour market needs, support family reunification, and provide protection to genuine refugees."”
