Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

Could it be that we re over analyzing all this? Is this ACTUALLY bad or it just SEEMS bad?

Even though I'm hating this 18 month bukwaas lettter, yet, I still feel this is NOT a wait letter...coz a wait letter ONLY has instructions to WAIT (nothing is ever asked in it, like 2nd AOR-6/12)......this is simply an 'updated docs request' which is standard procedure of LVO and which we were all waiting for.......only difference is, in the end, the "do not send us uncessary CSI" time has been increased from 4 months to 18 months...I know its a big leap....but it will work for VO' sbenefit, as they will NOT be bothered as much.... since we all know, that everyone sends them CSI as a soon as a dead line is achieved..whether is 6 or 12 months or BFD.

Also, For the first time EVER, the update docs request also has passport copies request in it (may be its a good sign, may be it eliminate PPR-1)

May be this is just the "new, generic, format of updates docs request" that LVO is sending out to people who haven't already gotten update request....I also expect to see this same letter on british forum soon....only thing to be seen is that will there by ANYONE who directly gets medical and does not get this 18 month letter!!! we ll find out soon.

And u never know....people who r sending updated docs , COULD hear medical in the next 4-6 months....I know this seems like a wishful thinking abhi, as there are a lot of 'COULD HAPPENS/MAY BE' here, but just trying to find something positive, in all this mad/ridiculous letter...ab wait to kurna paray ga....no choice.

thats the point yar...........VO is bound to reply applicant queries and by senidng letter that dont send CSIs for next 18 months means they make it legal that we have told applicants that no to send CSIs upto 18 months and now we dont want to reply about ur case status..............and as u all know and not all but for myself also that whenever i crossed a fixed time i started sending CSI(s) to take update on my application ..... may be intention is
1- to speed up the process by this mean (which is ilogical and usually dont work)
2- to make my self update OR to make myself calm by saying that some thing is going on on my application

IME is Immigration Medical Examination, and I assume that you got the number there. Rest is all ok.

they just concentrate on "not to send CSI for case update in coming 18 months.............no where they have written in letter that u have to waite for 18 months. If they wana keep applicants to waite for 18 months they y they asked for updated doc now........

If they want waiters to waite for 18 months more then y they send MR/PPR?visa to some of the waiters........like jawad n hinojamal

I know it is good to be optimistic. But in my experience when it comes to visas/immigration (especially canadian immigration), always plan for worst. If LVO says 18 months, it means at least 18 months. In last wait letter, they mentioned 12 months. Now every one thought we will get MR, update documents etc within 6-12 months. But what happened another 18 month letter. In my heart I am praying that I am wrong but my head does not accept this.

Yes it's a valid reason Jimmy I'd talking about the requirement to send them Passport copies else usually they ask it during PPR time.......Allah Kate aide he ho n I am preparing my forms to send in 1 or 2 days but I couldn't understand why they didn't ask for PCC even though mentioned in Caips....

m not 6 - 12 month waite leter holder so i dont have its format ........ i think it was written in that they will contact applicant with furthur correpondance in next 6 - 12 months

They also did not ask for PCC again from cock n bull...
They just asked for RPRF+MeDICAL after 16 months of applying.....they did not even ask for updated docs from him...But he was MI-2........some other MI-2 people got asked for everything....guess it also depends on case to case.

and yes, I am stressed (due to various reasons, immi being one of them) but trying to calm myself n NOT over-think/stress...but thanks for being concerned...appreciate it..
