When should we think that they have made the final decision, when they send medicals or after the medicals?

The letter was issued on oct 16, 2012 and i am to send them updated forms and updated original police certificate within 30 days from the date of the letter. I got the letter today so I am supposed to send it before 16 november. I am to send the following things: new application for permanent residence IMM0008, New schedule A background, New additional family information Form IMM5406, police certificate, two photos, and travel history form. I wonder whether these forms are new? Are these forms any different from previous forms?

I've a strong feeling that you'll get your medical forms "InshaAllah" within 1 month of submitting your updated forms.

The way I put it is :

Wait letter: 60% process done
Updated docs: 70%
Medicals: 80%
Ppr-1: 90% (decision made on this stage)
Ppr-2: 95%
Visa stamped: 100%

But the real thing is done when u land in canada, and exit the air port, only THEN it is completely done

insha Allah things are on right track, only thing is waiting.......this is killing so must try to find more activity to kill this time fast
because jab insaan busy hota hai to time ka pata nahin chalta....
for example: start some daily excercise/physical game it will divert your stress....
Pray 5 times regularly if you are a Muslim
and then try to study something / get busy with your family.....
I am sorry I am advising this but since there is a hope thats why it is difficult to forget this reality

Brother, I was JUST talkin about the immigration process (which is a very small part of life) NOT LIFE itself. But thank u for the kind advise on how to live my life tc.

Agreed. Immigration process is complete when u make exit from canadian airport / pass CBSA if entering by road.

don't you think the pattern already suggest that we are getting Update or MR request within 5 to 7 months from the wait letter date?

if, yes, what could be the reason some did get it after 6 months from the wait letter date and some didn't ?

I think that the current docs requests and MR to this particular Wait Group are not issued according to the date of wait letters. Many among us received wait letters in late march 2012 but are still waiting for update req/MR. Their apparent base is still the date of application received. But off course there are exceptions to the rules.

Agreed with eemooo. I'm about to complete 8 month in proces...but nothing..lots of people in the list got wait letter in March 2012...but nothing for them either....

My guess is : I think in MOST cases, they r still following the 'full docs' date pattern , like remember, to send wait letter, they also followed full docs date...

hence dest. Canada got wait letter very late coz he applied in Jan, 2011 and got wait letter in June 2012 I think....

Where as people like Arsh n lot more got wait letter in March 2012, coz they applied in Sep 2010....
Ofcourse exceptions r always there....but the point is, when the RAIN starts, it ll just be a difference of 2-3 months and all of us will be through to next stage....

So chill guys ..like the wait letter (from March to June 2012), we all will get the next stage round about the same time they are already down to jun, jul, aug 2010 applicants...next is sep,oct, nov....and then dec, jan 2011, feb 2011.

I think Nov 2012-FEb 2013, everyone will be done with update docs request...this is just my tukka , nothing concrete...and then the MR stage will start from March onwards....again all tukkas....hope I get proven wrong and juldi kuch aa jaye......

I'm telling u, it ll be end of 2013 for us 2010 applicants...3 year process (from full docs)...hope I am proven wrong and it heppens sooner.

yes, you might be right BUT i am still not convinced about the patterns of issuing update/mr yet!!! as you have got your wait letter with in 6 months and most of the ppls from our list too got it with in 5-7 months, so, it could also be said that the ones haven't got update/mr after march dated wait letter could be exceptions

No bro...I hope my predictions DON'T come true and we all get through asap....coz if my predictions come true, we re lookin at end of 2013/start of 2014....so I hope we get it much earlier than we all expect.

out of 52 people in the list, 10 people have gotten update/MR so far....so 20% people have some update.

Hi all
Today i got updated documents request with RPRF through normal post. VO given 30 days dead line for sending updated documents from the date of issuence of the letter. The letter was issued on 16.10.2012 but i received it today so i only have 15 days to send the documents. I received 6 to 12 months wait letter on 27.4.2012. As per CIAPS noted my next BFD was 30.4.2013. All applicants who received wait letter should ready for updated documents request or medical.
