Gillani, i too have filled this form yesterday. Agreed, quite different from previous form (infact seems to be merger of two different forms that we filled in past).

I am also planning to send the docs for updating new baby. Though I didnt see the form yet. Do we have to write nything behind the draft (processing fee)

No, you only need to write your name & file #. I sent a CSI to LVO & in reply they sent me an email advising what to do for addition of newbaby. My plan is to use this email as cover letter, checklist for submission of subject application.

I am very thankful to God and excited to share the good news to all those who are waiting here in this forum with their 6-12 months wait letter that - YOUR MEDICAL REQUESTS ARE ON THEIR WAY!!! I received my MEDICAL REQUEST today by mail even though my CAIPS notes said 'Case BFD to 21 - 03 - 2013'. I got my wait letter on 21 March 2012 and my MR was issued on 10th Oct 2012 from London Visa Office(LVO). I seem to be one of the first few to receive the MR with this timeline (with March 2012 wait letter) as I have not seen anyone else posting about the same recently.

So, buckle up guys...CIC seems to be working hard at clearing the backlog. I wish by the end of Nov 2012, almost all of you with the wait letter must be getting the MR(In that case, there will be a sudden high demand for air tickets to Canada from around the world - just joking)...Keeping fingers crossed. May no one be spared from getting their medicals soon(and clearing them too)...Good luck.

Got Medicals via Mail and I'm not really new here. You may check my profile for instance...I do check for the updates in this topic regularly, but without nothing much relevant to update and comment on, chose to remain a silent member. Couldn't hold back from letting you all know that your turn for MR is very very near!!!

I reside in Sultanate of Oman. Yes, CIC has asked for a new Police Clearance Certificate from Oman and UAE(though I have never stayed in UAE more than 5 days, only occasional visits for business and leisure - I am trying to figure out how to resolve it - UAE will not issue me PCC as neither I have stayed there long enough nor holds their visa!!!) The mail was received by my Agent based in Abu Dhabi and they just transferred it to their local office here in Muscat along with other documents. So, not really sure how exactly they received initially. Will update here if I get to know.
