also as per my CAIPS, they will ask me to send bank statement. Shall I order now for the Bank statement for last 1 year transaction? also is it valid for 6 months?


Also in between we can download schedule BG form and the IMM form and fill it up to get ready.

PCC is normally valid for three months from the issue date as fas as i know. So cant advise on this as dont know when they will send request to u.

Bank statement will not be a problem. It is just 30 minute job max if bank staff is efficient including wait time.

Yes it is advisable to download new forms from cic website and keep them ready. You may need to change them a little depending on ur travel but not much. So this u shud do it now.

For bank statement , is it valid for 3 or 6 months? as i am in Kuwait . and my bank account is in Bangladesh. I have to request them to issue a bank statement in canadian currency (each transaction) for last 1 year.

I think the following forms are needed to download, correct me if i am wrong.


imm5669E.pdf ( IMM 5669 - Schedule A Background/Declaration) for both (Principal applicant and Spouse(If marrried))

IMM0008ENU_2D.pdf (IMM 0008 Generec Application form for canada) - For Principal applicant only

To get PCC from KSA you need a letter from Canadian embassy in KSA.

Hi Cyra,
You can ask any of your relative / firend in Pakistan to get the PCC from Pakistan itself and send you by DHL/Fedex and I did it for my case and they have accepted this with full documents...and now in my GCMS they mentioned very clearly that they need only PCC from UAE only because I have already provided one from Pakistan, Now I am in UAE approx 12 years

Once again need your help:

1. Could you explain about update forms, I mean what forms; please send a link / list of updated forms normally requested by LVO.

2. What other documents LVO may request along with MR or before MR, but along with updated forms? (e.g. PCC, Pictures etc)
3. Have any Pakistani 6-12Months letter holder received MR till to date?
