Yaar too early to say anything. But people are rightly pointing out if the BF'd is on July 2012 then there should have been some correspondence by now.............what to say...???

By the way, What is BZZ.......it also has same date...........??
Yeah bro. Better send CSI just to be sure u did not miss any document....maximum they ll copy paste the reply! But atleast u ll be sure....I also just noticed the month JULY ....and I understand y u r a bit concerned. Inshallah sub theek ho ga........but send CSI for sure ....don't delay....

As for BZZ, I don't know for sure...may be its a visa officer, may be a department....not sure....
But a lot of people s caips has the same thing written as :

PAPER FILE SENT TO: PA FILE BF'D TO: BZZ ON 22-04-2013 MICROLOCATOR

Others can comment on what it is....I just always focused on the word "BFD" and "date infront of it"...always thought u get some sort of correspondence before the BFD is over....

Arsh , what do u think bro ?? Are nt we supposed to hear something before BFD... Ye Kya scene hai ??any idea

Yar scene is too changed now, everything we developed on, seems to be broken... look at way's case.. BFD is gone but not update as yet... On StarAli's forum, there was a discussion and it was concluded that BFD is the maximum time on which your file will be touched again however if the requirement is met or it is required , it can be opened before that... the example given on the forum was: when VO asks for updated doc he give 60-90-120 days for example, so he enters BFD of that duration however if someone sends docs early, his file can be opened before that.....
But now it all seems to be vague as they might not respond after BFD.. its an additional possibility :)

Got two aspects, both positive & negative.... Positive as the cases with BFDs of next year can be touched earlier and negative....... I dont even wanna say that :)

Hi Everyone;

There hasn't been any typo error, it indeed is 2012. That's also a matter of concern for me, if VO has prepared wait letter than there is no reason for BF'd in July 2012??? Also, there are no comments on subject date in my CAIPS to verify if my file has actually been looked upon on that date or not.
You will also notice a couple of BF'D's even before your case got into in-process and they hadn't sent you anything, BF'D is just a reminder for Vsa office it's like an inventory of files which tells them that the files are still open and have been touched before and they are needed to be processed and the dates are just reminders like an alarm clock but they don't have to send you anything on that date

Well, i don't think if they have sent me any doc's or forms updation request. I applied for CAIPS on Aug 24 almost more than 1.5 month after the mentioned BF'd date (July 07) but nothing is being reflected in my CAIPS file. Anyways, sending a CSI.

Dear all,

Found some useful info. at another IMM blog, read till end.

Just a try to clear the doubts that WAITERs can get any other response insteat of Med/Updated forms etc. from LVO.

Hi Folks

Some of you may remember me by username from a few months back.. some maybe not, but here is a post to let you know I'm still alive and kicking/battling with CIC to get our FSW application through.

After some months away from this thread there has been a new development with our application.

On May 8th 2012, 11:01hrs I posted:

I guess the real truth will be known when the letter drops into our post box!

By way of a positive note all I have to say is that finally a decision has been made.

I'll know in a few days which way to proceed next. If it's bad news we'll likely be lining up a BC Business PNP application which, in hindsight, we should have done two years ago!

On 12th July 2012 I finally received the 'Decision Made' letter. It was dated 26 June 2012

Refusal!

According to the reviewing officer I fell short of the required 67 minimum yet I'd estimated we should have received at around 71.

In the assessment I received Zero points for education! That's despite sending proof of all my UK education both Civilian and Military.

As you can imagine I am less than happy with the assessment!

I'm trying to find a previous post in the forum whereby somebody blasted CIC London for a complete cock up of their assessment. I seem to recall that London subsequently re-opened the file and re-reviewed. Can anyone help, as in that post there was some contact information (an email address I think) of the head of immigration dept in London. I want to equally suggest that my application has not been assessed correctly... to put it politely!

So not long after, I took it upon myself to email CIC and also followed up by posting a copy of the email with a covering letter by recorded delivery.

Dear Sir/Mdm

Re: Immigration File Number: Bxxxxxxxxx (Full Name)

I refer to your letter dated 26/06/2012, copy attached.

The letter states, quote: 'I have determined that you do not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada'

In the points assessed section under 'Education' I was not awarded a single point out of a possible 25!

My application was well presented. Proof of my British education and subsequent British military Royal Engineers apprenticeship was submitted with my application along with a letter, covering my education, supplied by my appointed immigration agent - (company name edited out), Victoria, BC, Canada. Copy also attached.

I am of the strong belief that an error has been made in the assessment of points for Education and respectfully suggest that reconsideration be given to my application. In particular a closer review of my education should be undertaken.

In short, as a Construction Manager and Engineering Technician, I am shocked at the zero value for Education under the assessment!

Yours sincerely

On 27th Sep 2012 I received a bit of a surprise in my email inbox!

It appears that, based on my letter suggesting they got it wrong, London CIC decided to re-open the case and assigned a new immigration officer to review the file.

Below is the response received by email:

Dear Mr. (Name removed),

This concerns your application for immigration to Canada. Your file has been reviewed by a different officer and re-opened for further processing.

You will shortly receive instructions to submit updated forms and police certificates, as well as medical instructions and request for Rights of Permanent Residence Fees.

Very well said. I knew this Q will be raised.

V hav discussed that mostly wait letters were issued from March to July12. If V C in the post, this gentleman got his decision made on 08th May'12. If he was not refused or assessed properly, what would be, most probably WAIT LETTER. I hope it clarifies and V R mature enough to understand rest of the story.

By the way, let me restate that the purpose of my post was to share that after getting positive eligibility assessment from LVO, Insha’Allah, V all will get Docs update or Medical request very soon..........
