security screening mostly. In my case, everything was done within 3 months. rest of the 10 months were for security screening.

I have a two-people application. my side of things are completed (including SS) but my Husband's SS is ongoing.
I should know better but I am hoping to hear something in December, which will be 1 year since AOR. However, deep inside me knows that i will be disappointed. This emotionally draining.

I have no idea. I am from Bangladesh. I do not have an extensive travel history. In fact, I have been living Canada for more than 4 years.

If they ask to renew the medical, is it that they are ready to invite? Or is it unrelated? Do they just ask for medical renewal each time it expires?

If you are waiting for long and your medical has expired, then CIC asking for re-medical is good indication of final review near completion and ready to invite.

Every now n den I feel like writing them but somehow being patient and waiting for my Gcms notes. It's getting frustrating day by day. They jus let the file collect dust. I mean there system would be robust enuf to show pending files for month, even if a senior is to look at it how come no one touches it for months. Ridiculous. More frustrating to think if they will answer or not. Ndvo is known to maintain silence in all situations.

6 months starts from R10. We lost months at the beginning for nothing.

Nowadays, CIC is taking about 10 days to response. But don’t expect something specific other than standard reply.

Yes, call would be a better option where you may have some specific information if you get connected with some nice agent.

Yes i did when i completed 180 days.. they said they have transfered the information to the responsible visa office and will contact me if any information is required. However i raised another query last week but no reply. Also emailed my VO but no response from them either

I don't think raising CSE, mailing or calling will make any difference. I tried everything.. when they wish they will give PPR. We should move on..I am just hopeless now..
