Working as a production manager. Married. My HR said that the verification went well. I was very excited and thought I will receive the medicals in 1-2 months but still waiting :(
Yea, but i mean, can you log on your cic account? there is the background process details, what is that saying?

CIC account's description of BG does not indicate anything at all. Only from the GCMS notes you might get an idea what is going on with an application. The background check is a complex process where various agencies such as CSIS, CBSA, RCMP are involved with this. I got PPR after 13 months and my CIC it still says "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.". Call to the employer is probably part of confirming the eligibility process along with background checking.

Congrats to you ,and thank you for the information, i just orded my GCMS. 13months means your case went to SS?

I don’t know what exact rule/guideline is but I know an Outland case where medical was extended for one year. In fact CIC asked applicant for new medical but applicant responded that it’s CIC concern as CIC could not make a decision within defined timeline.
That’s what I sent them back in August, they renewed it 3 days later.
Are you talking about me or another case?

Thank you :)
Yes, it was on security screening for 11 months. For my case, it took 2 months to complete eligibility, criminality and medical. Rest of the 11 months for SS.

Lol .. I also sent them same reply. But my GCMS still shows no updates on medical and I might get request for re-medical. :D

Hi all...
Does anybody know about the speed of paper applications??
My online application was canceled by cic.. and they created another application
But my GCMS notes show that this new application is a paper application
So wanted to understand the speed of paper application
Medicals passed and ADNR stages over for new application

nothing there. I am going to order gcms notes from a company I found on this forum. few forum members said getgcms.com has not been able to provide the notes for more than 45 day now. I am so confused. Does canadavisa.com own them? It looks like they have opened their shop on this forum and luring everybody to order these notes. For every problem, their solution is order notes

That is absolutely wrong. Getgcms has nothing to do with canadavisa. Also the last notes I ordered was received last week. I have ordered 3 times and with all of them I received notes in 30 days. Your visa office might not be releasing info. Getgcms is not to blame on this case.

ok. I am only saying what I am reading.

Did you call them or raised CSE? If they gave you any reply? Please share.
Yes i did when i completed 180 days.. they said they have transfered the information to the responsible visa office and will contact me if any information is required. However i raised another query last week but no reply. Also emailed my VO but no response from them either

gcms requests are not handled by visa offices. ATIP division of IRCC is responsible for gcms notes and if they need time beyond 30 days, they are bound to xplicitly mention that they are taking an extension.

Received my PPR today at 6pm EST. Finally my wait is over. After 11 months for Ontario-PNP and then 13 months for the PR it was a long, arduous, frustrating journey but thankfully it has finally ended. I might not be logging onto the forum from now on, but if anyone needs any help please do not hesitate to private message me so that I get an email notification and I will respond as soon as I can.

I hope you all receive your PPRs in quick time as well. Remember to keep your head up no matter how gloomy the situation might seem.

See you guys in two years when I get ready to apply for citizenship. :D
