Hey guys,
I've applied for GCMS (through ATIP online request) on the 29th of September, I haven't received it yet. I'd like to know how long it usually takes.
My timeline is as below:
CEC(primary+1dependent
AOR-1st May.
Medicals passed - 5thJune. IP1. No updates since.
We have passed the 180 days mark(186 days today). Please suggest what we should do now and how we can get more information on our application.

there's no way and nobody to speak to to get any info as far as I'm aware

you will get GCMS atip generally within 30 days but It can take up to 90 days too.

My 6 months will end in 7 days and i have had no update about the results yet. Do i need to contact CIC for this? If yes how do i contact and who do i contact please? I m really worried as the only update that has been made and that was 3 months ago was my medical test being passed. Please help me

It says processing. No interviews need yet and that they will inform when the final decision has been made. The only update that has been made till now which was 3 months ago was that i passed the medical.

Do you guys know of any cases where application was rejected due to the outcome of SS? I'm CEC inland. Have studied and worked here for a few years now, but my file's clearly gone for SS as I had mandatory public military service (awaiting gcms notes to make sure).

I have completed 24 MONTHS today and no news from cic at all.

I ordered gcms notes in august 2017 according to it our
(security began July 2016 )
and stil ongoing apparently. Ive given medical twice once in 2015 then again 2016 september.
Ive ordered cbsa notes aswell but havent received them yet.
Im FSW OUTLAND EXPRESS ENTRY AOR= nov 2015

Whats wrongs why hav they stil not finalized my application; me and my husband are engineers we have no military history or extensive travelling nothing.

Do u think it cld take 6 more months perhaps? All our life plans are stuck because of this.

24 months!!! OMG
cant help you with advice as I am aslo stuck in SS and seems there is nothing we can do and nobody can guarantee any time frame.

Ohh its too much time.. i am also on 16th Month. AOR 2nd Aug. 2016... for Out-lander i think there is no SS its only for Inland applicants. in my case security , Criminality and medical was pass since 2nd Dec. 2016 but still waiting for Eligibility completion..

May God help us to solve this mystery

Very sorry to hear your situation. As you are an outland applicant, you can not do much in this situation other then waiting.

Hello everyone,

Today I received documents from CSIS regarding my ATIP request for information about my Security Screening. The doc they released says "completed" in front of "status" but does not include a date on when this was completed. The only days indicated are the "request date" (which is May 25, 2017) and "Received" (which is May 26, 2017). Also, on top of the page, it indicates "as of Oct 05, 2017" which I think is the date when they released my info.

Now my question is how do you guys know when CSIS finished your SS?
