congratulations everyone who got PPR.. i received my first set of GCMS notes yestrday. eligibility, medical and criminality passed.. but under most recent activity section it says activity type: SECURITY SCREENING, field name: STATUS and after that everything is blank.. no date is given. but under activity 3 it says security screening, new value: NOT STARTED and updated date: 2017/3/20
can anyone help tell me when my security screening started ??

I am no expert, but I have read elsewhere that it means something like another officer's (mostly a senior officer) review is pending. Good luck.

imagine for Blanka from 30 Sep 2016 till July 2017 CBSA didn't initiate anything most probably . For me I lost three months as my CSIS completed 7 April and I sent CBSA atip 1 July after I got my CSIS. I ordered CSIS April 18th and got it end of June. I should have ordered both CSIS and CBSA the same time.

How did you contact CBSA directly mid June? You mean through atip? How did you know they completed late Aug?

My theory is CBSA starts processing after you send CBSA atip request. Blanka and me both sent request beginning of July and both our ss completed this week (mid oct). You contacted them mid June and SS completed late Aug. All these prove my theory so far.

I sent a request to CBSA through ATIP in July and received a letter in Aug stating that they don't hold any relevant information about my security screening status.
Then I also contacted CSIS thorugh ATIP in Aug, was told in Sep that my SS was completed in Dec 2016.

Yet I am still in the process(SS).

Should I have contacted CSIS first then CBSA later? Even so, should CBSA have had the info by the time when I requested it because my SS assesment from CSIS was already done in Dec 2016?

I don't know how to interpret CBSA's answer that they don't have any info about my SS status.

If your theory was right, that means CBSA has not started any SS process for me even though CSIS finished their job in Dec 2016. And my waiting time since then has been no use
