Glad to have this forum.. i was worried since i update additional documents 2 weeks back and didnt see any new request letter.
Mine shows exactly the same. We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details.

Please at least read what you share before you instruct people, link for the complaints has nothing in common with long processing time. People will use this link, make complaints, and then get upset when they won't get any reply, and it clearly states it is for information request based complaints.
So if you were not satisfied with the service provided when you asked for the notes, you may complain.


You may complain to the Office within 60 days of receiving your answer from the federal institution in question for reasons such as:

  • you believe you were improperly denied the information you requested;
  • the answer to your request is taking too long;
  • the fees are too high;
  • you have not received the information in your official language of choice; or
  • you become aware that other grounds for the complaint exist.

You will probably get mail by the end if the day, check your spam folder too. Maybe you'll get a request for the new medical results that they have mentioned to you. Did you upload any documents recently, it might be a glitch if you did.
As usual, all you can do is wait

i didn't upload any documents recently,i had uploaded on july 21,2016 the PCC.Please dont remind me hahahah that cic gonan a send me redo medical as i am inlander hope they might give extension,but the status of my medical is still in review in progress,:(waitig PPR only as my last call the agent told me my background check is completed.

Hi guys please check your my cic account,cic has changed their standards in my cic account.You will notice your and yours family UCI number on the top and also check your review of additional documents status and update here,in my review of additional documents it says we need additional documents from you so please check in your message but it is nothing,i am worried.

mine one also says same thing. But no request for new documents. They requested RCMP check back in January. I think from that request this information is being generated.

What course of action do guys recommend?

I have been calling 1-888-242-2100 today but everytime it directs me to an automated voice message that CIC is experiencing large call volumes, please try later.

Another friend advised me to raise a CSE!

Is there a process to do that?
If you are an Inland applicant try contacting your local Member of Parliament office. They will provide you better information.
 
i am trying to call IRCC but wait time was 59 minutes so i disconnected the call but they asked me to enter my application number and date of birth,so o entered and they say same what i have in my application status.
 
There appear to be some glitches with the changes to the online account setup, and one of them is document request, when CIC is not actually requesting any documents. That's why so many people are seeing them today.

what number are you calling ? I don't even get to this wait time.

I am calling 1-888-242-2100.. then select PR, then they ask me to pick my catergory... "E" and then punch in my application number and date of birth. Then the machine reads me the info that I already know. I then hit 0 to talk to an agent and then recording says..."We are currently experiencing high call volumes .... you may hang up and call later"
 
The number is correct but select 7 for express entry and again press 0 and wait to speak with agent.No need to raise cse because your BG-IP2.your ppr is around the corner

I got the email from Ottawa office:
Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.
Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed.

My processing time is now 5+months, but does this message mean I'm going to wait with you here for undefined amount of time?
