Oh man, these answers are so funny! Probably not as funny for Chillito. Sorry, Chillito! It's so painful to wait, take it from all of us here who have been stuck for not just 6, but 16 months and more. People on this thread have lost all hope that's why the answers might not be as friendly/supportive.

If your application is in security check there is literally nothing you can do at this point, but wait. You can call the help line, but all they will say is security is ongoing. There is a number to call from outside Canada, but I don't have it on hand. Try googling Global Affairs Canada and that's the number you call. Sorry your application is taking a long time, but also don't get upset with people on this thread. Understand that 6 months to us is a distant memory.

OMG u guys are still waiting . I know the feeling. But friends keep faith and patience , i know its very hard but unfortunately thats what u can do.

Is there any movements in the applications assigned to SGVO? I'll complete 18 months in few days. The reply I got from them regarding my CSE is that the external agencies delay is resulting to this horrible waiting period. I feel helpless and frustrated as there isn't any other way to contact SGVO.

LOL! I was all fired up. Practically had the email all ready. I was just waiting for CSIS and CBSA reports, neither of which I've received as of yet, btw. Maybe it was telepathy at work while I was cursing them in my mind every single day

I have received my GCMS notes today and its 151 pages!!!

Dont know exactly what to look out for. However i could find the below in second page:

ASSESSMENTS:
Eligibility: Passed
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Other Reqs:
Final: Approved

I checked and haven't received any communication on MYCIC account. I am not sure if my app is approved or not!

On the final page it says:

Congrats Shweta,just wait for couple of days,yours situation is same as one of my friend.It will take couple days to issue PPR.

Yes, your application has been approved.
It's very weird that you haven't received a PPR mail so far as decision made on November
