hello all,

do all outland applicants get a medical request upon the expiry of medicals..........my medicals expire on march 26th, im from Bangalore, India.....my BG was never in progress......can i expect a redo request followed by BG IP when i submit fresh medical.

Hi!

I didn't receive a medical redo request until I actually asked for it. I emailed them to inquire about the status of my application and mentioned my medicals will be expiring and whether they can be extended. I received an email back saying I will have to redo them, and that was followed by a request in MyCIC. So you might need to ask them.

Thanq for reply, i raised a cse and mentioned about my medicl expiry......is there a chance i can get a redo followed by BG IP when i submit fresh medicals( would be much better if i get ppr b4 that).

Sorry, I really don't know an answer to that. My background was already in progress at that time.

I also hope you get PPR before the redo Good luck!

Thank you very much, 10th month running and yes i agree and respect many are senior to me here.....but do u think eligibility might be over nd its security running and taking time(no millitay or no govt job....visited 14 countries 2 pcc) gcms says security and eligibility not started.

I really wish I could help, but I don't know what to tell you. It's odd that your eligibility is still not started after 10 months. For me, that was passed before the security began, 5 months after AOR, together with criminality. And then only security was in progress for the following 10 months.
It sounds like they forgot about your application. Maybe you need to make constant inquiries to get them moving, which I know is more difficult with local VOs, since they are not as responsive as Ottawa. Try referring to your GCMS in your email to them. I think I would send an email directly to NDVO, rather than CSE because I feel like those are often overlooked and responded to in a very generic fashion. Be firm but polite in phrasing your email. You paid for this service and have the right to know what's happening with your application.

I am exactly in similar situation as yours(my medicals expire on March 24th 2017), except that my Eligibility and BG is showing in progress and I am waiting since 8+ months. Have you ordered GCMS notes? I have done it couple of weeks back and waiting for it. I guess that will give you clear idea about what is happening with your file. Till then I guess we do not have any other choice than waiting!

quick question guys, my application was in Accra for over 8 months, called up cic last night and ottawa said my file is now in London VO and its being finalized at the moment, everything looks good, and i should be expecting a mail from them on my account or i should send LVO a mail if i don't hear anything soon, does anyone have similar experience?', applications moving from one VO to another, bg in progress since dec 29th

Seems you are an outland applicant... hoping to get a ppr email soon for you..could you please share the number on which you contacted cic?

Is there any movements in the applications assigned to SGVO? I'll complete 18 months in few days. The reply I got from them regarding my CSE is that the external agencies delay is resulting to this horrible waiting period. I feel helpless and frustrated as there isn't any other way to contact SGVO.

I will be touching 12 month in a few days...i understand your situation and I am also searching an alternative way to contact sgvo...rejecting different opportunities with the hope of getting pr has now lead the total situation in a mess

back with a query,well my file was transferred to NDVO in july2016 .
My eligibility was cleared by ndvo soon after(as per the gcms notes)
After that they did not bother to touch my file as the security ,criminality check started in Nov.
just want to know how much time more to clear this stage considering the fact that my spouse (nonaccompanying) has military background?
Any input will be appreciated.
