Finally the long awaited PICK-UP MAIL and VISA-CORPS is at hand!!!
At last our kidnap, hijack, Captured, Seized PASSPORTS are finally released to us. LOL.....
Pick up mail landed on the 30 Nov. Parcel delivered this evening. Passport stayed with AVO for about 29weeks, that is 6months, 3weeks and 3days.
Thanks to God and my efamily and forum mate on the waiting list for all their support and prayers during these waiting time. May the rain of updates (MR,PPR,PICKUP mail) continue to flow from AVO to this family. To everyone waiting we will rejoice with you tomorrow in Jesus name.
I cannot stop without taking this opportunity say a BIG thank you to this house for all your love appreciate the amazing support and wonderful contributions of everyone on this platform. Your generosity is very much appreciated, with the information and help available on this forum, the use of a consultant would have been totally unnecessary for me if I had found out about the forum earlier before PPR. To everyone awaiting positive updates from AVO, it will soon be your turn to celebrate IJMN, Amen. It will surely end in praise!!!
I will find time to write all that has happened during waiting period. MERRY CHRISMAS in advance.

Hi guys today i am reached 6 months since my AOR so happy to join in this thread to share any ideas,experienced etc.As per my second notes everything is passed and met.Today i called to cic and spoke with one good agent regarding my application status and he said everything is good so my security check is ongoing,Even she don't know how long it takes?My work permit is valid till May 21,2017 so i asked the agent if i could apply BOWP but he advised me to apply before one month of my expiry date,

Yes I did, everything passed a months a go and security check is still ongoing.

same here my hubby is a serving army officer.......recently I have been asked to submit pcc from Congo since he had served there under UN mission .
Though my hubby is non accompanying so had not mentioned about his Congo tenure as he had gone there on an official passport.
Hats off to CSIS they can dig out all the past history

I also had to submit my non accompanying husband's pcc from Liberia and Ivory Coast as he was there on UN mission. I've submitted the documents in July! I did mention about his travels (work related and personal) in Schedule A.

Please email and ask your application status to your VO,you will get response in a same day,i did mine to ottawa and my friend also sent an email to NDVO and even he got response in a same day.

I had e-mailed the VO and havent got any response. my local VO is Pretoria as i was staying in Johannesburg for 3 yrs. now i am back to India. But in Oct , Pretoria office had sent document requesto to me in mycic account. hence i am assuming my local VO is still Pretoria. do u think i shud e-mail NDVO and ask them if my file was transferred?
