Hello everyone,

I just got a reply from SGVO saying that my application is at final stage of review by an officer ( I have been asked to redo medical check month ago, completed and passed on 14Nov2016).

Please advise how long does it take to have their final decision. I raised this question to them but no reply so far.

Below is my detail for your reference:

AOR: 1st Dec 2015
PNP outland
Visa office: Singapore

Thanks

All the best friends Tuesday is coming i hope u all get PPR tomorrow

If all normal and its there for final review then it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks.

@dreamcanada: thank you very much for your advance. Feel much better now after more than 12 months of waiting

By the way, I just checked my express entry account and found that on the section of background check, the status was changed from "not needed" to "in progress". Is it considered as a good sign? I remember that I have read this somewhere in the forum long ago.

Hope PPR come to us all soon.

Thanks

sorry dreamcanada, it should be advice, not advance.

Hi All, How you cracked the GCMS notes to see the hidden notes, please advice, I am in the same situation. Thanks

Lol i think ur taking gcms notes as something else, Wrong assumption

Hidden means hidden only csis or cic has access to it u cant get it.

But if its hidden that doesn't mean its a matter of worry. Stay calm everyone's gcms notes have hidden part specially security

That does look like CBSA. I checked with CBSA again and I was told,

"Your immigration security screening from the CBSA would be part of our programs.

If you wish to make an Access to Information or Privacy request, You can visit our Access to Information and Privacy Web page for more information on how to proceed."

You can submit a status eqnuiry request online using this info. (there's a consent form provided, as well).
http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/agency-agence/reports-rapports/pia-efvp/atip-aiprp/req-dem-info-eng.html

I asked my Canadian relative to submit the query online and filled the consent as well authorizing my relative to act on my behalf but my relative chickened out telling me there was no use sending these queries and that I was not being patient. haha

I also called CBSA but the lady has no idea what I was talking about. She cloud just refer to IRCC as the organization which deals with PR applications (LOL). But thanks to the information you have given I am going to request CBSA for my information. If you want to make an Access to Information or Privacy request, you can also have a corporation currently present in Canada to inquire on behalf of you. I found http://www.visafile.info/choose-your-option/ using which you can order an e-note to be inquired from any Canadian government authority. For this you need to choose the "Custom" option. There should be interesting information for you because your BG have been IP for a relatively long time.

Good Luck! 8)

I think, I've found another match which seems to fit quite well.

And thank you for the visafile.info link!

Great! Anytime. Hope you get the PPR very soon!

So, for those waiting more than one year, Sit tight! your files are probably being processed in CBSA for security.

I hereby officially welcome myself to the club. 8)

I am also requesting this through a friend in Canada. Although I have a feeling whatever they send will tell us absolutely nothing ;D It'll probably be all blank :)
