Amazing to see that you are still positive. Hope, you receive PPR soon. 12 months wait is cruel to say the least.

Got the PPR today suddenly. I still can't believe it. We went and bugged them twice at Pretoria VO but I still wasn't confident that we will get it so soon. I was actually pretty much sure that we will have to go bug them again next month. But basically, bugging them twice seems to have worked. We went there as a whole family with wife and toddler looking all sad and desperate for news. Maybe it worked. :P So, everyone still waiting I urge you to do the same. Persistence seems to work with these embassy type people. Wish all those waiting, the greatest of luck to get RFV message very soon.

Congratulations!

Oh my gosh, congratulations you guys!!! So happy for you! Finally your time has come. If I was anywhere close to Ottawa I would definitely go knock on their door.
Did they give you any reasons for delay while you were there?

They told us that an officer had become so sick that she had to retire. And this apparently delayed the processing. I don't know why another officer didn't simply pick it up. There are 3 officers operating in Pretoria apparently. Anyway, since a lot of us went on the first Tuesday in July, they seemed to have noted down all our file numbers and expedited our cases. Could've been done sooner but at least they did it now after we went and bugged them twice. I really hope and pray that yours gets done soon. Try to bug them in every way possible! Persistence really pays.

Thank you BGC, emailme1698, rajkamal, Tusharbakaya, Amaljohan, DreamCanada16 and bellaluna! :)

Whaaaaaat. Although honestly, I'm not surprised by this reason, a lot of offices operate this way. ::) It just so happens these officers make decisions that affect people's entire lives.

(Side note: I wonder if the delay at OINP right now is for similar reasons.)

Hi, it looks like I will be officially joining this group in a couple of days. I am planning to contact CIC the first day of my 7th month.

However, I am not sure which one to contact. I know from my GCMS file that my Primary Office is Singapore and Secondary Office is CPC-Ottawa.

My current plan is to send a CSE, which will presumably reach CPC-Ottawa. The question is, would the "Secondary Office" be able to shed any useful light on the status my application? Or am I expected to just receive a reply saying that I need to inquire at the Singapore Office (which I heard from someone here, simply never replies to emails of this nature?)

Anyone can provide advice?, especially those with the same LVO as mine.

Thank you.
